I also agree that this man should be given Administrator Privileges, so long as he changes his name to "Catnip" or something else which is cat-related.
 
Just wanted to add a bit more info to my previous experiment. After using a tight knitted shirt as a filter I used a double coffee filter and filtered with that also. Bearly anything remained in the filters, it was that little that I found it unnecessary to do the whole procedure. Anyone that is using shirts at least try this once to know exactly how much your filtering out.
 
I find that if you're going to "ghetto filter" it per say, then one of those sunglasses cases is the most effective. (the fabric ones of course not the hard case ;))
 
A fair few chemists around where I live have been starting to sell boxes of 40 15/500 chemist brand whitch is goood news.
Is 15mg the limit they can sell OTC?
 
^ yeah I think so, I got a pack of 24 today because they said that's the most they could sell me, they said to come back if I need more before I see my doc.
But yeah, I'm pritty sure 15mg would be the max, the next one up would be forte, and you need a script for that.

Has anyone used these with success? I read a thread where someone was not happy with the results from these (the 15mg extras that is).

For it to be OTC the maximum codeine in a pack cannot exceed 360mg and/or not exceed a 5 day supply (6 per day). Not sure how they can legally sell that pack.
 
^ IME whether or not you get your details taken down is down to the policy of different pharmacies and luck as much as anything (or whether they judge you look shifty). It's not a new thing, and it's up to the individual pharmacies whether they do it or not.
 
I always used Panadiene Plus (500mg Paracetamol + 15mg Codiene) with a the shirt method, usually 400-600mg codiene. I've decided to try the Chemist Own (12mg Codiene + 200mg Ibuprofren). I used 30 pills with 60ml water, shirt filtration then coffee filter. I noticed the sludge was a lot less then the paracetamol products I tried and even through the double filtration the soloution was very cloudy. With paracetamol it was barely cloudy, almost clear.

Anyway I'll assume it's all fine, filtration nearly done..

theyre only allowed to sell a maximum of 400mg codeine phosphate (5 day supply) these packets of 40 just say codeine so they found a loophole lol .

it depends on the chemist , 'amcal' which is one of the chemists around me , always ask for details , so i just switch names lol , its so that when they put the name in the computer base , if u try to go into a store which is connected to the base , ur name will pop up and they wont sell it to u .

some brands have a white dye in the pills , i use panefen plus and get the same thing , i havent actually used any other brands but im guessing the dye makes it taste even worse lol , makes it look unsafe .

Its just scare tactics and all. Lets hope it wont be like the pseudo watch because that will be a pain for everyone although there isnt much that they can do about you buying a lot of boxes in a short period of time. Its not like your making anything out of it like with pseudo. Its just for human consumption.
 
There's always a steady supply of heroin doing the rounds if it does become like PRJOECT STOP. That's one thing for any lawmakers to consider, which they won't.
 
Went to the doctor today for a cough, ended up being prescribed a bottle of codeine linctus which I have never had before. Probably wont get around to using it till the weekend but I will be very interested to compare the effects to a similar dose CWE'd.

I think I explained this towards the end of the old thread: the actual legislation (SUSMP) says 15mg of codeine, not codeine phosphate. So when they measure the amount allowed per dose unit (tablet), they calculate the weight of codeine minus the salt. I personally have seen the letters that went around to pharmacies before Mydol started selling these packs, and they were clear about this 'loophole' and that they were going to use it. Some pharmacists are pretty sure eventually the TGA might change the wording to put a stop to this.

It depends on which state you are in, and then on top of that what the pharmacist is like. Here in QLD, details have to be taken for all S3 medications... even Ventolin. In NSW or VIC, this is not a state law requirement and pharmacies can choose whether or not they want to take details.

Yeah this absolutely isnt the case any more. Well it kinda is but theres some loop hole as Mr Blonde hes been talking about for a some months now. The Mydol 15 is a great buy and is becoming common to see out in the wild (and online pharms). But the cool thing is this new pharmacy brand competing product (pictured below). Ive seen this at a couple of chemists in my area now.

I find the best way to acquire this product is to to ask for a large box of panadeine extra and do the whole casual, "oh and if you have a generic or a less expensive pharmacy/chemist brand in that that would be great". You can usually see them sitting next to the panadeine extra boxes anyway. When I first discovered them the pharmacy assistant bitch who I swear wasnt even 18 actually "sir we just got this new product in today, and it works out at better value if you'd like to have that instead?"

Course I would bitch! hehe

600mg in the one box. Very convenient.
