Cocaine: Why?

I've heard this a couple of times myself. But then I wonder if it's a case of whichever drug wraps around your brain first. I'm an amphetamine/meth fan, but have only done coke twice, so by no means an authority, but in those times I've never found anything to write home about. But I wonder if it's because I'm looking for an amphetamine euphoria where none exists. I've even found myself in a place where I've done crack once, and I actually found myself hating it (thank god [no judgement, but last thing I need is one more addiction to throw on the pile]). But again, I think my brain was looking for something specific, and I found myself disappointed and discontented at what I perceived as a rush without euphoria. So yeah, I'm inclined to agree with the above statement.
 
Cocaine is more like short blasts of overwhelming euphoria, and that goes for however you do it...amphetamines are more constant, not quite as intense...You can smoke or shoot meth and get a rush but it's never quite like cocaine. I prefer amphetamines, I dose high in the beginning and just ride the wave until I start to crash and do more, I actually feel satisfied and not constantly craving. With cocaine, it's like I can't get my mind off the cocaine and the next hit/line. I love to mix cocaine with opiates though. That's really the only way I'll do it.
 
It is overrated

It's a great high, but it's short-lived, so expensive and stepped on so much from all the different people it goes through.

It's more like a novelty drug, one that says for you:

"Look at me, yeah I have (or had) money." or...
"Aw dang it, I just spilled some coke on my dick, how will I ever get rid of it?"

Really, it's like the anti-date rape drug; you get action, and the girls are quite the opposite of passed out...

It's just a great feeling. It isn't in your face like MDMA or Methamphetamine, but it's there, and it's just such a lovely feeling... Good and pure (Which I can confidently mine say is uncut) cocaine doesn't make you get up and go, it lets you have fun whatever you feel like doing. I remember spending a few nights on cocaine watching shows from when I was a kid for hours on end, and it was just unbelievably blissful.

I always want more coke like instantly after busting a rail, so easy to see how so many people can get addicted. I always feel like my hearts beating out of my chest on coke too. Also, the price is ridiculous, the duration is miniscule, although its undoubtedly "cleaner" than meth, it is in no way worth it IMO.

Ill be stimmed for days off a gram of meth versus a gram of coke and the stimulant effect is much stronger and productive. I can snort a dime of dope and get through an entire work shift without redosing for stimulation. You gotta bust rails of coke every 30 minutes to maintain stimulation; Id be fired if I was running to the bathroom that often.

Cocaine is a helluva drug. That last sentence sums it up perfectly. Even though it's my 3rd most abused drug (behind only weed and alcohol) I still don't know why I had a massive coke phase. For 2 years I stayed up blowing lines every other day. I had a connection, so I pretty much never paid, I was doing so much I was probably blowing more yay than I was eating food. I never get cravings. I never lay in bed for hours fantasizing about doing lines... I do fantasize about heroin, opium, and amazing weed. It really has to do more with the experience than anything else. The actual process of doing lines, the set and setting that usually comes along. Then again, blowing lines by yourself is fun too. Coke is coke. There's nothing like it in the world.

Coke is a shit drug whether you snort it, smoke crack or IV it. All the high is for me when i smoke it or shoot it is a intense rush that is so strong it's uncomfortable especially if you shoot it, a bell ringer that nearly makes me go deaf if it's a big enough hit and the craving for more coke once the peak is over. There is no real euphoria just all rush. It also causes a general feeling of disgust and self loathing in me when the hit begins to wear off. I was briefly addicted to IV coke and shooting a few grams did more damage to my veins then 2 years of IV opiate use did. Not to mention that the shit made me extremely paranoid, made me feel like i was in a constant mixed manic state and somewhat violent as well. A few very close friends noticed a change in my overall personality for months after i quit. I was far more scatter brained when on it as well as months after i quit. It also shot my memory right to shit.

I hated the stuff when i had a heavy habit going and i hate it now. Give me dextroamphetamine any fucking day cause atleast it lasts longer then 2 minutes and gives me a pretty good high that is productive as well.
 
I admit cocaine is over rated and over priced imo but i enjoy doing it every once and a while, its hard for me to turn down if its free. I do enjoy cocaine more than amps though, they both can make me anxious and i do not like the stimulant comedown at all. I always do cocaine with a opiate/benzo or a opiate benzo combo, that's the bad thing in my experience with it is that it mixes well with heroin and other opiates/benzos. I also like the short cocaine duration, if i want to to be tweaked and up for longer periods of time i would rather dose a long lasting 2c-X compound.
 
its amazing how many people would vehemently disagree with you and how many people would support you till the end. People either love coke or tolerate it. I fucking hate it, but I did a lot of it. Too much in fact. I'm sorta ashamed of how I acted and what I did during my coke bender. Probably more ashamed of myself for that then for when I started opiates. At least the feeling from opiates is actually worth it.

It's apples and oranges......give someone a hit of coke or a hit of MDMA without the person having tried either, I bet most people would choose the MDMA...but MDMA is a temperamental drug, cocaine is in it for long the haul...
 
Cocaine over MDMA any day, that's just me though. I can't tolerate how shitty even clean MDMA makes me feel after.
 
It is quite an interesting paradox, gives you a short lackluster high and costs way to much, I guess I have to agree, I do cocaine cuz ,well, its cocaine. Very compulsive drug imo
 
IDK shitty coke sucks but clean smooth cocaine is still one of my favourites.
The kind that doesn't really give you a comedown and you can still eat on it unless you blow a half g
 
^I still have no idea what you people are talking about with cocaine that "It has no come down! You can eat and sleep and it's actually very relaxing!"....I've done a lot of cocaine and I think the movie Goodfellas is actually a pretty accurate portrayal of what "good cocaine" really does to you....
 
Tis true iv had good blow, even shot it before, but still seems overpriced, still has the top rush though

The only time we ever do coke anymore is when either a friend has it and offers some to us, or it's New Years. I like to pick up a little coke on New Years.

I was skeptical for 2 years until I finally got some real smooth potent shit.
