Television Breaking Bad

Errr, because he was going to kill Hank?

Or did I just make that up?

I absolutely agree with you. But Walt was freaking out about his family and he seeked protection for only his family. I think he was concerned about Hank. I think Gus hurt Walt's ego greatly after he fired him. So what does Walt do? Go insane.......paranoid and I think he is afraid that his "easy" way out can't be that simple. He has always imagined that it would be too dangerous to get out and now it's all coming back to his head.

I am stoked too. Then, there can't be an ending right now. They need more drama for sixteen more episodes of breaking bad. I hate that I have to wait till next year though. It makes the experience rather bittersweet. I have to wait to break bad again. Not fair :(

and im sure the ending to this season is going to be a crazy ass cliffhanger like last seasons ending with jesse shooting gail. i watched episode 410 and 411 last night to get refreshed lol for tonights episode. i noticed in the last episode you get a look at mikes last name when they are in the makeshift hospital, its like emanthuknathski or something like that haha. I cant wait to see where the rest of the series takes us, i remember reading that they wanted to kill off jesse in the 2nd season but he was just so likeable and became a major character in the show. said it before, but ill say it again. best. show. ever.

I am so jealous....I have to wait for stupid itunes to upload the newest episode. I missed the show, I was too busy with this place. :(

Wow......I watched the episode. For those of you that like Gus's character, I don't see how you like him. He is fuckin insane, mean son of a bitch. I really hope that they can get rid of him soon. Then Walt can clean up the mess he has created then shoot himself, he at least would be in the power of his death (Not the DEA, Not Cancer, Not Jessie or Gus). I couldn't believe that the whole hour passed me by. I want more.

How did Gus know there was something fishy in the parking lot? And I'm not totally convinced yet that it was he who poisoned the little kid. Walt might be trying some super reverse double psychology trickery here. Just a theory. He's been asking Jesse to kill Gus for awhile now, this would be a good way to get him to finally do it. Jesse has really been getting his head seriously fucked this whole series.

Anyways, can't wait til Walt Jr gets offed in the season finale. And somehow a zombie Gail re-joins the cast.

Last nights episode was brilliant! The first 7 or 8 episodes of this season started off really slow, and took awhile to really get my attention. As of lately, it's getting so tense I want more!

Spoilers:

I don't think it was Walt who poisoned Brock, I think it was Gus who gave the order, it was probably Tyrese who did the actual poisoning. As for the last scene with the car, how do you think Gus knew something was fishy? I have no idea, but I'm interested in knowing. I feel for Jesse, he has been getting mind fucked all season long, ever since Jane OD'ed on heroin in Season 2 he has been getting mind fucked over and over again. I hope they manage to squeeze Mike into the final episode, I know its unlikely since he is still hospitalized. We'll see.

I can't wait for this season finale!

"Its brilliant!"

yea i loved that part where walt is going off about gus's plan. So intense the final scene where walt is waiting to detonate his pipe bomb, how did gus know? he didnt live that long and become that sucessful in that business without having eyes in the back of his head...or even sixth....maybe seventh sense! haha.

max where did you hear they are going to off walter jr?

If Walt's theory is true, and Gus tried to turn Jessie against Walt by poisoning Brock, then Gus would have known that his plan hadn't worked (I don't know if it was mentioned in the episode [I was kinda drunk], but I would assume that Walt's house was under surveillance). Since Jessie and Walt both left alive, Gus would have known that they must have talked, and probably talked about Gus wanting to kill Walt. Since Jessie is still more loyal to Walt than Gus, Gus would have to think that they came to a "better him than us" conclusion. Gus is on high-alert now, and he knows Walt is a smart motherfucker, and since neither him nor his guards were around the vehicle while he went to see Jessie, Gus decided not to take his chances.

Gus is a genius chessmaster type, but how did he know something was up with his car? I think he has to be behind the kid being poisoned, and he knows that Jesse knows. Jesse laid it on a little thick in the hospital with the "doctors have no idea" line, insinuating that he knows what Gus did to the kid. So then Gus had to know that Jesse would want to hit him back for that and that is why he was suspicious. Also I think that he saw the reflection from Walt's glasses on the building he was watching them from. The camera made a point of showing the glasses on Walt's head as it panned out and gus did look right at him when he was scanning the rooftops.

So what now, is Jesse going to go back to work in the lab? I seriously doubt it now he is way too pissed at Gus for poisoning the kid and Gus knows this so Jesse would be in danger especially when they find the pipe bomb under the car. This was a really great episode. I cant even begin to imagine what is going to happen in the last season. I am pretty sure that somebody is going to die in the season finale episode, probably Gus or Jesse.

I am just going to continue praying that Gus will come off the show soon. He really is starting to aggravate me.....ahhhhhhh(head shaking)

Season 4 has really grabbed me. 3 was awesome and I'm surprised that they've topped it. Wasn't sure for the first few episodes, but it's really kicked into gear and I can't wait to see how it resolves.

Gus suspected his car was booby-trapped because Jesse hinted that he knew Gus had poisoned Brock. Gus also probably knew that Jesse didn't kill Walt. He looked over the balcony to see if Walt had a vantage point from which to detonate a bomb, since Walt wouldn't try to kill him in the parking lot (especially with the bodyguards present) and obviously couldn't use or get hold of a sniper rifle.

The real flaw, I think, was that when Jesse told Andrea about the ricin, the hospital staff didn't call the police. A six-year-old gets poisoned? You'd think that would bring in a few investigators, who'd be curious about the drug dealer who mentioned the ricin to start with. Only a minor hitch, but still a bit annoying.

I also think Gus knowing about and getting hold of the ricin is far fetched, but not unthinkable. I hope they explain this better in the finale.

I cannot believe that AMC would make a show like "Breaking Bad." This is one of America's worst addictions, everyone is trying to help people get off meth and here you stoop so low as to glorify the making of meth as a show. You are making the name of teachers bad while you are at it. You should be ashamed of yourself and I hope this show gets canceled asap. AMC--I will not be watching your network!

Fuck you, Audrey. What a total moron. And teachers get a bad name because one fictional teacher ups and cooks meth? I hope she doesn't think everyone with a moustache wants to wipe out the Jews.

This is not my own theory but one that I read on another board...please guys, chime in, because I think it has a lot of fucking substance to it. It's both insane and brilliant, which makes me think it is possible:

The theory that a fellow poster wrote (Ireland Native) is that Walt's glasses are bugged. Think about all the times they have zoomed in/ focused on Walt's glasses over the last few episodes (Including this one). Think about the episode titled, "Bug". Was it merely a narrative on Walt bugging Jesse's car or was there more that met the eye?

When Gus is approaching his car, Walt starts speaking "There you are, now I see you..keep going...", and then Gus slowly stops walking towards the car. Then, Walt continues to speak...Gus then turns to the landscape of the city and begins to scan the area. He then begins to walk away as Walt says, "Why are you leaving...". Does Gus have an earpiece in his ear and is constantly listening in on Walt? I don't know, but this would be much more plausible than Gus simply deciding something is fishy about his car. Remember how Walt proclaimed that Gus is simply 10 steps ahead of him? Walt always has his glasses on, so there is no better place to bug something than his glasses. Also, if you recall when Walt takes a large dose of sleeping meds and Walt JR comes by the house...His glasses are fixed (after Jesse smashed them) as he awakes, again. Now, many, as did I, would presume that Walt JR went ahead ahead and fixed them. How did Walt JR fix them with no car, no money, etc?? This is another argument in favor of this theory (Tyrus or Mike easily may have replaced them). I think the theory is bit out there but I would love to hear feedback on this. He was the only poster who I have seen post about this and a lot of people were taken aback by the plausibility of it.

Now, the small argument against the theory (Could be many more based on responses). Is it possible to bug a pair of such thinly framed glasses?\Let's get this discussion going.

Cheers

Tomer
