I didn't say it was the wrong strategy. I said I wasn't a fan of slow playing.
I don't need a lecture on how to play poker TheKid, when playing at the stakes we're playing at with a bunch of amateurs (lets be fair none of us are pros) playing a solid, steady game often works wonders. So it didn't work last game but it's paid off in many other tourneys I've played. And let's not forget you didn't win mate, so until you've proved yourself as the kind of the tourneys, sush.
Played a MTT yesterday, my strategy was to go All In pre-flop whenever I had the following cards in the hope I'd get a call and double up:
AA, KK, QQ, JJ, TT, AK.
Worked wonders early on, had plenty of hands and doubled up a few times to take me well into the lead but unfortunately
my luck ran out and ended up getting outdrawn a few times and crashing out before the money.
On Wednesday I'll be happy to take all your money. Mugabe can't beleive your begging for cash. :D
