Well the lineup this year sucks pretty badly. Jet, Evermore, Bob Evans, My Chemical Cuntance, Eskimo Joe, The Vines... YUCK!

Can anyone say medicority?
 
what rubbish.

Frankly, i am over all this bollox about the lineup being so bad. Sure, there are some really shite bands such as My Chemical Thrush, Jet etc etc. But, FFS, it is a music festival where of course there are going to be bands you do not like. I mean, you cannot please everyone and some people will be going for the very bands that you hate.

I bring your attention to very, very cool acts such as Peaches, Hot Chip, Presets, Crystal Method, Killers, Kasabian and Macromantics.

What to do, what to do? Hot Chip or The Killers?
 
I'd go the Killers but both will be mega-crowded. I think it's quite deliberate, these clashes, we have a few bad ones in Melbourne too at the same time as the Killers, the point is probably the spread the crowd out a bit. :(
 
^ well, see, my theory was that Hot Chip would be the smarter choice because most people will be at the Killers. I still think that Hot Chip will be big, but given the crowd that usually attends the Gold Coast BDO, i would think there would be less interest than for the Killers.

I may be wrong though.

Ughhhhh! Wish I'd gotten a ticket for this now... ones on ebay are going for like $170 each or something outrageous. I guess next year will have to be my first bdo instead.
 
on the run, which state are you in?
I know of a few people who're trying to sell tickets in different states (sell, as in desperately get rid of, not scalp).
 
the drones... at least they have their own sound. not to mention that fiona is so fucking hot...

I'm nearly tempted to buy one off Ebay for Sydney. But I dont want to spend $200+ on something that might be cancelled or I might not get.

Huge longshot, but anyone know of anyone who wants to sell a real ticket for Syd?
 
^^^There are quite a lot of people I wouldnt trust on BL, but some I would.
 
OHMYFUCKINGGOD.

This is my first BDO ever... and TOOL is headlining... I've planned my entire day. I cant wait. Theres only 7 days to go for me. Or 6. The 19th. OMGOSH!!! i'll have to tell you guys how awesome it is to build anticipation i guess ;)
