Big and Dandy Salvia Scraps

Okay, here's the report...

I smoke a bowl of 10X, start to chill, and space starts folding in on it's self. Then two female entities enter the room. The first being the main sage-goddess as I call her. I tell her, "I come in respect;" she replies, "yeah, I know, we go over that every time." Anyway, the second one was her helper, or something of the sort. So, I'm there with them and my sense of gravity is completely gone as they surround me. Eventually the helper tells me that she is going to send something back with me, a gift. I think, sure, but that might be hard.

So they make their exit and this where I come to. I have a desire to write, so I get on the paper and pencil. I literally start writing out two complete pages with out any thought from myself. My hand is just being willed to move. When I'm done, I'm able to read over it and it perfectly describes problems I've been facing for the past 6 months and how I can overcome these problems - changes I must make in myself.

I guess I shouldn't say that I was able to bring it back. I should say the entity was able to send it back with me. I can't take any of the credit for it.
 
tededfred - your experience with salvia is truly amazing

I never had a real breakthrough, but its because of salvia I decided to face some problems, like excessive use of pot and failing out of school. I'm slowly doing better in school and I no longer desire to smoke pot all the time.

Anyways, in regards to that forest feeling...I donno, I dont really feel like im in a forest, I have a feeling of "green". Like I cant explain it, its not like what I touch feels green, my state of consciousness has a kind of green mood to it, and just feels green. This is inexpressable in words and you could only understand if you experience it. Although I suppose it has a kind of forest like feel to it, and I do sense an odd female like presence sometimes.
 
I smoked 5x extract when i was comming down after a rave, i had bout 300mg of kava before i had the saliva to help me relax, my friend and i smoked bout 2grams each of the salvia, i had a very visual trip, saw water on roof and dripping down the wall over my hands, weird noises, my friends skin turned black then yellow and the walls where bubbling :P It gave a weird stonned like feeling but it kinda made me blank minded i was expecting deep thoughts but i had a mad time saw heaps of cool things! :)
 
Aaah very good... I was starting to get a bit worried I'd come to the wrong place to discuss Salvia when I read the first two responses ;)

I can't say i've ever really learnt anything from salvia yet, nor have I recognized an actual presence, other than the forest. Good to hear others have felt a similar foresty feeling... I seriously recommend trying that CD I mentioned or a similar rainforest type relaxation CD. Perhaps I need to find me a real forest/outdoor setting for a Salvia experience, as i haven't tried that yet.

I'm really happy with my experiences so far, and the slow and steady rate at which I'm 'learning' the plant.

The more I analyse my experiences so far, I think I've only reached a level 4 (VIVID) stage... I might aim for the next level when I try it out next, and see where that takes me 8o
 
I've smoked only leaves and 5x.

Sometimes it would seem like there were people around who weren't really there...the last couple of times, there are these big cartoon animals in various settings and they are all much more powerful than me (it's a real ego bust...it's like talking to your parents...but...like....times 5...like, these cartoon animals have like 100 times my intelligence, etc)

i mean, that's the best i can describe it
it's always really crazy and i can never remember it too well after it happens

i don't really like it though
it feels too uncomfortable
and i can't relax
and i dunno if the animals are trying to teach me anything, anyhow
or just laugh at me
cause i'm sitting on my floor hitting a bong with salvia extract in it
;)

but i don't hate it or anything
it's just a really confusing drug
 
It's funny reading these 'discriptions' of Salvia trips. 99.9% of the trip is completely outside the realm of words or normal thoughts. I too feel (and see, in a way) the lady presence. I've writen several times after a trip, you just kind of write without thinking. I came up with some great lyrics once.
 
Every time I've done Salvia I've gotten this feeling of being attacked. Like this army of entities is tugging at me and chanting. After the third time of this, it was enought o make me not want to try it again. I'm sure it's very useful, but whatever is in there doesn't like me, and I'm not going to try going deeper.
 
It's just amazing how so many people female presence!

Before that I thought of salvia, psychedelics and plants in a whole different manner
 
^^ I'm curious whether any women who have used salvia feel a "female presence"? Or do they perchance feel a male presence?
 
Damn... you guys are making me want to give salvia another shot when I get some cash :)

The only time broke through I was sitting in a car. I soon realized this was not a good environment as I was being pressed against the door by a force I had never experienced before. Soon I was overwhelmed. I saw desert out the window, and it "felt" like a cowboy movie. I also watched the doors of the car fold down (I know it doesn't make sense) into a 2D line. I could have sworn someone was talking to me the entire time...

I was unprepared for an experience like this, so most of it was mental static.
 
There was also an interesting post about this female business on the Yahoo Salvia mailing list. One of the members visited and Indian reservation/retreat for a period of time. He offered some of the people there some Salvia. They turned it down, but when they talked about it being a sage. They remarked that they use sages in a lot of their spring ceremonies because of the strong female presence.

It was that fact, that an Indian tribe can develop the same feelings, that convinced me this female entity wasn't due to the power of internet suggestion between us all. I might have some of the details wrong, but that's the general idea of the post.

On a tangent of sorts... I'm always amazed that I can almost instantly recognize what entities join me. I can tell how many, if it is the "main goddess," her "helper," etc. The "main goddess always has the same attitude also: distant yet caring. Plus the fact that I can have a coherent conversation with them using thoughts amazes me. Either I have a great imagination or there is something to this all.

how bout this...

hmm... where to start...

Well, for me the effects of salvia were directly dependant on my initial surroundings.

For instance,

While in the woods or other natural chaotic area, I felt as if I was becoming one with the surroundings (the first time was quite scary though)... except for once when what appeared to be a energy being poured out of what should have been my chest. My body and head disappeared from my view then the earth began to breath and beat in a systolic/diastolic rhythm as if I was the earth breathing with a heart beat. All in all a quite peaceful and relaxing sensation...

When in an urban or other structured man-made setting, I felt as if I was in this constant loop of falling through the floor. As if I was sitting on the inside of the spiral in a pinwheel blade and it was spinning with the floor coming at me. When I leaned in either direction, the axis of the spin changed as if I had changed the rotation of a 3D camera in 3D Studio Pro.
So when left, the floor came up as if the pinwheel was spinning clockwise with an axis from my right shoulder and visa versa. When sitting up the axis came from behind me. All the while I'm being bombarded with colors/shapes/dots and sound affected in many strange ways (waawaa, distortion, vocode, pitch bending). Quite a VERY strange experience.

In both experiences though, I had lost the ability to sense any kind of reality and almost completely lacked the capacity to move.

Every time I smoke I only use about a cigarette or two of leaves. Usually only one because I lose total grip on reality and forget I'm even holding anything subsequently resulting in burns sometimes.
 
What are you getting at here?

What's you're experiencing are common pre-breakthrough effects. Keep on trying, smoke stronger extract, hold in your hits longer and eventually you'll breakthrough.

And then it dawned on me.. we need a 'feelings' thread. Moral support, encouragement and the sort. Wholesome thumbs up, I say!
 
the gravity effect means u have pussied out on dose

if u get lasting gravity effect smoke more next time, ive noticed that the mild "trip" or whatever the gravity is feels evil and uninteresting but makes some people laugh or act like retard sso it can be entertaining hahah

well my point was that for a trip u need a proper method to smoke enough decent salvia fast enough then u dont have to experience the gravity effect except for only less than minute before salvia knocks u out.. the dreaming state it triggers is very unique and unpredictable when doing it remember to arrange everything so its unlike to kill people
 
the best method i suggest would be what i used for my first time ever trying salvia, which was 10x i believe:

-first build yourself a gravity bong which makes use of a bowl that can be smoked separately.
-next, load up the bowl to be used for the gravity bong to its absolute fullest
-rip a nice, long hit from the pipe, holding in for as long as you possibly can. while you are holding this, pass it off to your friend(if there is one) so that they can put a little more into the bowl
-while still holding the hit, use the same pipe to fill the gravity bong
-once the gravity bong is full, exhale your hit, and then immediately after you exhale, begin to rip the gravity bong

Now, if all things work well, you shouldnt even have enough time to exhale the gravity load before you are blasted into Sally Space :)
 
I've never tried the extract before, although I am very intrigued to try. I had an ounce of salvia once. The first night I had it, I must have at least smoked a quarter of it. I used to love this stuff! The feeling I get from it, well... it makes things more surreal. I felt like I was in a movie. Everything around me just took this different tone and it felt like kind of what you said, like this is the most reality your going to see. Like all the rest of life has been covered by a veil and as soon as you get high from salvia, its being torn off. I always liked the unique and interesting effects of salvia. Definately need to try the extract next time. Whats the strongest they make?? Anyone know?
 
I bought some 24X off a popular online auction site but I'm unsure as to whether it is really 24X and have yet to try it.
