Best/Worst Thing About your City

I live in Atlanta
best- not too expensive, everyone smokes weed, most of the city is very nice
worst- you can't get around for shit, especially outside atlanta, without a car. the public transportation system is a joke. it's easy to feel disconnected also
 
Jersey City, NJ

Best: Right next to NYC, great public transportation, and good drugs with a open air market

Bad: it is pretty hood, that can be good for some....
 
Brighton, UK

Best: On any night of the week, not just the weekends, you can go to any bar or pub, club or other venue and listen to any kind of music you want pretty much; amazing colourful pieces of graffiti, and great art everywhere you turn; the seaside - which is amazing during the spring and summer; nice parks you can chill in and really regular transport 24/6 to take you anywhere you wanna go...oh and I can get hold of any drug under the sun here - bar opium and mescaline...those are the only 2 I've never really heard of around here.

WORST: drunks and gnarly junkies roam the streets day and night; the beach is topped with huge fucking pebbles over the sand (can be a plus sometimes though); too many shitty bars and shitty takeaways;

good: abundance of all sorts of drugs, good weather awesome salt water fishing and southern hospitality charm

bad:rednecks, iggnorance runs rampant. no jobs really availible, hurricane prone area(katrina)

good: economy,has done well through the recession

bad: urban sprawl, dfw has some of the highest drving times (watever tyat means) of any US city, so the dallas morning news reports

Big city full of cool young people, cheap drugs, beautful women, lots of shit to do

CONS
bad traffic, public transportation not able to keep up with the huge influx of people moving here

Best: Beautiful architecture, lots of history and tradition, original famous Mardi Gras; (predates that of New Orleans); gorgeous Gulf beaches, can't beat the warm winters, friendliest people in the world. Economy has more or less weathered this recession better than many other places. Magnificent, breathtaking thunderstorms. People here are not as "whiny" as up north, and take more personal responsibility for their life's situations.

Worst: Everyone moves at a snail's pace, which sometimes makes me want to light a fire under their asses. Massive generational poverty, especially on the outskirts. Hurricanes. Bizarre, random crimes on a regular basis. Public school system leaves something to be desired, but they are trying very hard to improve.

Best: living in the country, like the seclusion. Bein able to drive 15 min to Old Forge for some bangin pizza.(pizza capital of the world)

Worst: Gota go to the city if you wana have a good time, and theres a shit load of old folks here.

Well maybe bro, yea i didnt know anyone in Mobile. I cant believe its so easy to get H in Biloxi and I didnt see ANY in Mobile and they are 30 minutes apart. But I guess its possible. I know New Orleans is on the other side. But really? You can find Special K, Molly, Brand Name Herb at a good price? Coke for peanuts a gram? In Biloxi? I wasnt really referring to that though, I was talking about post Katrina gloom
 
post katrina does suck the job situation round here is real shitty, and my hours just got cut another 6hrs a week yesterday. but mobile had plenty of dope and since the ocs become the new hard as shit ones it seems like more and more dope is being brought in from somewhere. everything can be found with the right number as with much of any city. I-10 runs right thru here and that stretches all the way to cali.

yea when was in Mobile i saw plenty of OC's and Dillies but not a drop of dope and i was privy to some of the tighter circles there, plenty of coke (powder and hard) plenty of pharms oxy, opana, xanax, dilaudid and even decent mdma and brand name nugs (on campus) but H was like a dirty secret word there, not to be talked about, I was told it was because of the long sentences given for just possession, i was told and read on the internet about how back in the 70s the whole MLK area was awash in great asian shit and cheap but it dried up with the french connection, the old skool junkies have been taking the hour and half trip to New Orleans or making do with pharms ever since
 
I live in some suburbs outside of detroit.
best: really close to canada and ann arbor, so we get a lot of great weed
worst: some really scary neighborhoods i've had to go to for drugs

Fayetteville, Arkansas

Best - Huge college town, amazing chronic, lots of girls, always parties and huge bar scene, lots of other drugs.

Worst - huge college town, same people everyday, Its ARKANSAS, bar scene gets old quick when that is all there is to do, job market is pretty much at a stand still no one hiring, about a million mexicans one town over in Springdale because of Wal Mart and Tyson chicken.
