Benzo Discussion Vol. 3 (I think? Last night's a blur..)

Brilliant mate! Best of luck to ya :) 5mg a week might be managable for a bit but itd probably be a good idea to drop it to 2 or 1mg a week after the initial drop

Glad to hear your meeting with your Doc went well, but I must admit Im puzzled at to why you were attempting to obtain a variety of dodgy black market benzos, when perfectly reliable and consistent etilaams have been legally avaiable throughout. Were you just bored of Etilzolam/looking for a different buzz ?
 
I've jut switched from etizolam to diaz and diaz is much much better for me, the anxiolytic effects lasts all day from 1 or 2 10mg doses a day wheras with etizolam i needed at least 5mg to see me through a day, they also didnt help with my sleep. The only plus i can think of for etiz is that it's legal, otherwise diaz beats it in every department for me including anxiety relief (ymmv)
 
Yeah, good news. I realised not all doctors are bad - some are REAL cunts, though - and they'll help, if they care. If you have a fit, and something bad happens, when they could have offered you a taper, then it won't look good on them. I'm glad people are having good experiences with the NHS. Best of luck. Just remember, you want to be clean of them, before you end up back at square one - or worse, just for buying 'a few extra'. :)
 
Flushed my etizolam stash tonight, for the second or third time. Got in a bit of a mess with it recently and let family down; now everyone knows I'm a fuckup! I am not fit to have th/benzo powder in the house. The risk of overdoing it is too great. Judgement is destroyed after a few mgs and I end up taking many mgs. Part of it is, I'm sure, a desire for oblivion, but unless it's permanent, what's the point? So no more.
 
Shitty. Glad benzos are the one thing I've never thoroughly abused. Instead of flushing things, people should send them to 'Bluelighters in need'. ;) I suppose, in this case, it would be 'Bluelighters in need of losing a few weeks, and ending up with a habit'. Takes a lot of balls - I've never flushed anything, except dodgy pills.

It's been a long, long time since benzos alone - or pseudo-benzos - gave me a 'buzz'. Etilaam was okay as a stopgap, but its short half-life makes it less than ideal for tapering: diazepam has a half-life of up to 200 hours, whereas etizolam's something like 12 - and I've read posts on this and other forums saying that some aspect of its action renders it useless to hold off withdrawal after more like 8.

When i tried to stick with etilaam, my tolerance accelerated much, much faster than with benzos proper - at one point I was on 20mgs a day, and that was using the better-manufactured Depas and Pasaden brands (EU made). Switching back to benzos proper, I was able to get by on 90-100mgs of diazepam, supposedly (according to equivalency charts) half as much.

I think Etizolam is mostly useful for the relatively benzo-naive (i.e. you've never done 6mgs+ of Alprazolam a day regularly) or as a last resort for benzo addicts when nothing else is around. It doesn't have the full range of diazepam's properties, is too short-acting to help with sleep when undergoing a reduction from high-dose diaz, and besides, the last time I bought the 'new UK-manufactured Etilaam' they were (the dark blue pills) some random RC downer, or else VERY poorly formulated. Vendors explained that customs are now intercepting Etilaam shipments, anyway, and I don't trust anything that comes from RC vendors - not even kratom - anymore.

On the same subject: if it was a one-off binge, or first for a while, you should be fine, but if things get unexpectedly rough (tremors, emotional meltdown, etc), don't fuck around, go to a& e. Benzo and even thenyl-benzo withdrawal isn't something to take chances with.

Anyone know the score with blue 10mg diazepam, WW logo on one side, D10 on the other? I think I can remember a thing ages ago about dodgy D10 valium. I know no-one's going to be able to tell me for a fact, just trying to make sure that they're not the amitrypiline fakes that were cutting about a while back.
 
I've had WWs in the past that definitely were diazepam, or at least had the exact same effects. WWs & MSJs were the standard 'black-market' diaz about here for fucking years. For all I know they might always have had D10 on the back, I'd never noticed before & only thought about it because of the fake ones a wee while ago.

yeah but they are a darker blue, maybe the pic, taste like diaz, not chalk, effect like diaz, they defo are diaz, just illicit

Almost a polar opposite of MDMA.

The high is much more sophisticated. <3

Crackhead it's Stada F10's that were dodgy the legit ones had D10 on the back (I think, or vice versa). Never had WW's so can't vouch for them, better of buying msj's cheap, clean and the best for the money.
