Anyone a fan of Syrup? (prometh/codiene)

its everywhere down south (Houston, New Orleans, Miami, Atlanta) very easy to obtain, There are several kinds with purple being the most popular in Houston and New Orleans, but in Atlanta and Mephis, Tussionex is more popular, its called "snot" and its better than purple(codeine) but my favorite is the cherry flavored Oral suspension roxicet!
 
syrup is very tasty. but only go with the purple, promethazine w/codeine. thats the real shit, not orange, not red or any other knock offs. pour a deuce, with some big red soda or welch's grape soda and jolly ranchers and it tastes sooo good. best way to descrive it is the song by beanie sigel-purple rain. lean is also good to deep the philli/swisha in before u roll it to make it burn nice and slow. thats how i did it in H-town
 
I prefer hydrocodone pills, or even Tylenol 3's to the syrup, which has fuckin' antihistamines mixed in it. The Histussin (Hydrocodone/Phenylephrine/Chlorpheniramine) is better than the prometh/codeine one, which just knocks you out without a nice buzz. I get syrup all the time for a "cough" lol. It's all I can get, as it's easier to score from a doc than pills in my experience. (Or maybe I just don't know what to say?)

I get dis purple drank by da gallon... mixed dat shit with some apple juice, snort a 15mg opana ir.... and smoke my product. I got the cripest pakalolo(buds) on my side of jah island....... i get my syrup from my doc. he trades me scripts for buds

so... i love this shit, its basically free good time

Down here in Texas lean is everywhere, nothing better than poppin some pills, smokin some kill, and sippin that purple drank.
 
I only use it to make dope feel better. There just isn't enough codeine in the stuff for it to get you high, unless you wanna take a massive overdose of promethazine. It takes me at least 60 mg of morphine orally to get a bit high, which is at least 400 mg of codeine. There's 6.25 mg of promethazine for every 10 mg of codeine, so to get my starting-point amount of codeine, I'd have to take 250 mg of promethazine with it. Considering that you only need 25 to 50 mg to potentiate heroin and schizophrenic-style hallucinations start at somewhere between 100-150 mg IIRC, that doesn't sound too fun to me....

That being said, promethazine + heroin = win.
 
i tried it once cause it was cheap. SHIT, compared to other opiates. I didnt even start to feel a buzz before i passed out. I dont like opiates much though, im a stim guy. Mine was red? It was codeine/prometh syrup too..or at least it wasnt OTC syrup, since it tasted good..adn i got it in the regular bottle and all that.
 
Cheap and very available here in Virginia, five to ten bucks for a 4oz bottle (also OTC here if you can find it, but without the Promethazine). Tussionex really is where its at, and its what Three 6 Mafia was talking about in the song "Sippin' On Some Syrup", not codeine/promethazine like is commonly thought.

I've had the pleasure of a codeine+promethazine+Tussionex combination (at recommended therapeutic doses) and it was probably the best opiate high I've ever had.

Too much promethazine just puts me to sleep though.
 
You never know, could have been a newb to opiates at the time...20mg of vicodin was the best opiate high I ever had, simply because it was the first, and NOTHING, not even a shot of hydromorphone after surgery a year or two later(the only time I've IV'ed opiates...lol), compares to the first time. Well, for the vast majority of us...I'm sure IV heroin might put the first vicodin/oxy high to shame...but still, I think we all remember that first high...magical...
 
i've gotten a couple bottles of purple scripted. never really liked it. but i was also on "real" opiates at the time too.

I think its kind of strange its such a hot commodity down south. I know if you're old enough its basically a first line script up here (NY) when you go in with a cold. I've heard of people in TX paying like $20 for an oz of the stuff. WTF? I guess its the whole 'purple culture' that surrounds it; thats what you're paying for.

That kool-aid recipe mentioned earlier in the thread sounds nice though
 
I don't plan on trying heroin. I ventured into oxy and hydromorphone for a little bit and it was fun but after a few times I decided it wasn't for me (mainly because of how expensive!), but to each his own.
 
I have never been a fan of that syrup. A long time ago, I used to be a big fan of tussinex. I can taste tussinex just thinking about that sweet gritty orange syrup. Brings back good memories, back when I could catch a buzz off of 150mg of hydrocodone. It would be nice if it was still that easy. Be safe!
 
back in the 80s i used to drink codien/turpenhydrate boiler makers. Take a couple of shot glasses of the stuff and drop into into a big mug of Gunisses. Chug it down. No rush--but a very "narced" hit. Then chew some benzos. Great for concentration in the more ephemeral aspects of life not to mention getting a lot of work done which has always been the reason I sued opiates. of course not as simple as that but one must dispense with mental artifacts first b4 work can be accomplished. Also had a huge jugs of oxy cough syrup during same period. Wash back some pills with that eleixer.

You could sign for the cough syup in jersey back then--the cod./turp. was taken of the market shortly into the 90s as it was supposedly a carcinogen.
