I hated the other seasons but this one is really good. I was figuring this would be as bad as the others but im glad I gave it a chance
 
I gave seasons 1 & 2 as a Christmas gift, but had never seen a single episode before. This led to a marathon of the two seasons and I was somewhat impressed. Much more intense/graphic and well written than I was expecting. Although for some reason I was under the impression that this came on ABC family rather than FX 8(
 
They didn't specifically state in the last episode if she was or not. I think that if she was alive though she would've shown up at the school with Angela Bassett's character. And IMDB only lists her in nine episodes?

I want to call it a good show but they try too hard to be serious and progressive but fail miserably. Ghost threesome? Why not. Black stereotypes? Its not the south without them. Creepy guy in girl's clothing? Sure what the hell. But that's not going to stop me from watching the rest of the season.

^ yah circus would be a cool theme even if i dont love that poster

and aep the southern black vs white bit is a little overdone imo but like you i will still watch!
 
Well that was great I love this show .... fuck ... 8ts great.... there was a bit of that left field wierdness this episode with the coke head papaleche

Damn they killed Nan now :( poor girl but like she said "anywhere is better than here"

I think it's becoming obvious that Zoe is the New Supreme I just can't wait to see more powers from her and Madison ugh! She is really like Fiona and it would be a bummer if she becomes the next Supreme :p

"The black demon guy" was Papa Legba, very important in voodoo and to Marie Leveau since she was a voodoo priestess. Marie's eyeball tongue "yaaayaayiii" move was awesome. Some days i'd like to pull that one in certain situations.

I thought this episode was great, very campy compared to others, loved Fiona's reasoning why Papa should take Nan for his yearly "innocent soul" debt collection from Marie- "She's innocent... mostly. She killed the next door neighbor but the bitch had it coming." (quote is prob off a bit, all apologies) It worked though cuz Papa took Nan w/ him.

Overall excellent show, best thing i've seen on tv since that other century, and interested to see what they come up w/ for next season since it has been renewed. I still like "asylum" better than "murderhouse" or "coven" but given the other (non)choices on the idiot box, i will continue to watch AHS.

i was wondering when we'd see any of the voodoo side of things. they played Papa out really well, nails and face paint and all. i was impressed. i see you brought out the good stuff for meee.....
