Hey folks,

SWIM recently acquired some weed (Melbourne area). This weed is hard to smoke - it does not burn well, it does not pull through a cone piece well either, massive amounts of pulling are required. Smoking this bud in a joint is impossible, it just does not burn well enough.

After burning, a very hard lump of ash is left, whether in bong or joint. I thought this thread http://www.bluelight.ru/vb/showthread.php?t=483439) was the same stuff I have but its not oily, does not crackle or sizzle or anything.

Whats wrong with my weed?!? Do I just need to dry it out more?

Check out the adulterated thread mate, this has been going on for a while now. Some of it sparkles, some doesn't.

It is not actually wet. It doesn't matter how long you "dry" it out for either it will still be the same. You can end up with sore lungs from trying to pull comes of this stuff too.

Did he use warm water?

As far i know gravy powder doesn't disolve in cold water as well as is does in warm water.

I've seen 3 weed dealers on the Gold Coast selling this stuff stating that it is laced with gravy powder and about a dozen other people who have seen the same stuff say the same thing it's gravy or some sort of beef powder product.

Although we could be talking about two completly different types of weed.

From what i've seen there isn't much more of it getting around the coast.

i git these buds the other day full buds.

obviously i chopped and mixed with tobacco

when smoking the cone sparkled as if someone had sprinkled flint grindings or sparklers on the weed!!

any insight on to this would be awesome... at first i thought fly spray then i also thought they didnt flush the hydro system before picking...

thoughts??

Adulterated weed

Asked what the so called adulterated cannabis looks like. I have a pic of definitelty adulterated stuff, originally thought it was oil robbed as its cheap and the sopurce weas selling oil and hash blocks as well.

This doesnt smell like beef like someone said, it has a bit of a decent pot smell, more like it is old though, a lot of it had mould in it but the sunlight killed most of it. It leaves ash and clogs up my pipe a lot. The taste isnt very good and its easy to cough on.

Apparently from SA, was sold as "mongrel" and told there is no indica or sativa anymore, strain names are BS its just good taking care of it and glood seeds. I agree. But the smoko does spark sometimes.. making me think its oilk-robbed to make money with hash as well.

What do people think?

That's not true. the good strains are still available you just have to be higher up the food chain than the person who gets sold what you posted.

It is that time of the year.

He meant "robbed of oil" as in a Butane extraction had been performed on the buds before they were sold. I doubt this is the case though as the buds I have seen have a lot of visible trichomes.
 
That gravy shit is everywhere around here too, so glad I'm one of the very few who still has access to decent smoke, it's just a pity there's so little of it to grab! I love bush bud!

serriously though, alot of the weed in montreal fizzes, and the weed that does fizz leaves a numb sensation in your mouth.

Hey Chemi you should post your mouldy pic in here. Even though it is not adulterated, going by the fact that you yourself couldn't tell it may be very beneficial to other Bluelighters.
 
Hey guys, hope this is appropriate, but what do you think of this bud? Verybuffed has told me he believes it is mouldy. I wouldn't be too sure, I really don't have a *great* knowledge of cannabis, only basic.

Any input that can be provided would be great.
