Adulterated cannabis

God. I've been laid out with a fucked lung infection all week. Just opened my bag and had a look at my buds and they all look exactly the same as the one in that pic. Covered in white fluff. God damnit. This was the first time I've been to that guy and I have no other suppliers either which leaves me fucked, nowhere else to go. Is mould common? I've never had mouldy buds before.
 
That's bad news mate. Sounds like your in the same situation as Chemi.

Have a read through the last page or so of this thread and you can learn how to stop it going mouldy. Chances are it was fine when you bought it but was probably misted before sale to add weight, if you stored it incorrectly, (sealed it up while it was wet), it would have gone mouldy.
 
Yeah. I have no idea if it was fine when I bought it or not. I smoked it the day I bought it and the day after and me and a bunch of people I was with got sick. Now it's noticeably mouldy. I've never dried weed out before smoking it, always just chucked it in a zip lock bag and left it like that. It's just fucked having no other suppliers to go to.

The supplier should be ok. Just make sure you properly dry the next lot you buy before sealing it up.
 
Just a heads up, there is some shitty dusted bud going around melb at the moment. Really oily, darker coloured bud, clogs up cone everytime. When smoking, it sparks a lot much like a sparkler, tastes like shit and can give you a terrible headache. When rolled up the entire paper gets covered in oily crap entirely within 3-4 tokes. By halfway through it becomes completey unsmokable. It's like thejoint becomes blocked and can no longer be lit. Fucking disgusting taste. I'm guessing it could be an outcome of the recent raids.

Wen you feel the bud, the texture is very noticable. I'll try and get a picture up soon
 
^sounds very similar to the stuff a few people were describing earlier in the thread (or top of this page). in the melbourne area too.

it's saddening to hear of people "cutting" weed.

my first vape arrived yesterday morning so i've been having fun acquiring the perfect hit from it=D
 
Should add 073 into the vape mix. I though the adulterated era of bud was over, which was why o was surprised and posted. Then again I shouldn't have been surprised. Should also add I now have a chest infection. Whether they are directly related or not, I don't know
 
usually if it sparks doesn't it just mean they havnt flushed out nutes right?

i recall having sparkly stuff about 4months ago, not in melb area, it was rly rand
 
Has there been a drop in overall bud quality in melbs? Or is this kind of thing spread Australia wide?

Here in adelaide buds are the best they've been for years, out of the 15 or so mate i have that smoke none of them have come across weed they wouldn't smoke due to adulterants in the cannabis.

Kinda seems the bulk of this shit weed is in melbourne.
 
I have seen weed here in the US that had been sprayed with sugar dissolved in water and let dry,after it dries out it looks like good weed becasue the sugar recrystalizes when it dries and adds a small amount of weight,maybe a few grams per ounce of weed,but sellers of large amounts of ounces or less,those extra few grams of weight from the sugar add up to an ounce after a for weeks or so..
 
Doubt this is the problem but figured I'd mention it.

Heard first hand from a grower than he sprays his plants with bug spray to keep the pests away...claimed it evaporates before harvest. Can't believe he does that and that he told me...had smoked some of this stuff before knowing and didn't notice any difference apart from it being very good and potent, but didn't seem to 'pull' properly. Wasn't oily at all though...needless to say I won't be touching any of his stuff again.
 
thats some scary shit.... lead in your weed? wtf? how big a dick can someone be; when i think of adulterated weed i think of something lazed with like PCP or some shit like that; imagine just planning to chill at any given afternoon and after you rip your bowl you blow the smoke out and you are in fucking Narnia lol; would prob be scary haha;
