Gabapentinoids The Lyrica (Pregabalin) Mega Thread v 2.0

Been on Lyrica for about a week now, my doctor gave me like 8 samples bottles of 21 count, 50mg pfizer capsules so i could try it out for a month without having to pay a penny cause i hear it's expensive.

I take about 150-200mg's at a time and find it to relax me very much, take away pain, puts me in a good mood, after taking the 2nd dose it makes me nod in and out and makes me feel like i'm on a Benzo, like valium or K-pin, plus i take like 6 endocet 10/325 and i try to take it about an hour after taking the lyrica and when i do i get amazing results, it makes it seem like i took 10 percocet 10/325's instead of 4 at a time, and it lasts long too.

I can see why they put this one on the controlled substance act and not Gabapentin, the only good feeling i ever got off of gabapentin was when i first tried it and the next day, on day 3 it seemed like my tolerance went thru the roof and have never got that feeling off of gabapentin ever since.

Lyrica is much stronger and is still giving me great results, with or without Oxycodone.

Also it goes great with weed.
 
i used to get high on lyrica quite a lot but stopped because of the tolerance and addiction that happens so fast. its been maybe a year since i took some but ive just ordered some for a 4 day holiday thats coming up in a month or so. its gonna be brilliant. just thought id share that.

Aight man think a minute:D Bomb in rizzla? Its capsules so it basically on "Bomb" already. Also to get a good high do 800mg and wait up to 2 hours before you increase the dose. The drug need about 40houers to clear the system I recommend 2 days between high's :D.

Don't get addicted like me, tolerance goes up fast and keep adding 1x300mg capsule a day I ended up with 1500mg dose twice a day. The withdraw on this stuff is awful ended up with going 3 days with no sleep and only 1 meal before I budged and took 600mg.

Be warned, this stuff does come with a serious withdrawal if stopped cold turkey like i did like a dumbass, i didn't expect it to be this bad but i had to go out and buy xanax just to calm myself down, horrid horrid withdrawals.
 
finally got prescribed lyrica i have been on it since friday , but i didnt take it today and felt anxious all day and like shit....i first got my script on friday evening around 4pm.. popped 100mgs along with 2mgs klonopin, 30mg roxicodone, and 32.5mg of hydrocodone, smoked around a gram of weed and went to a party....felt amazing, talkative, and sociable..the next day (saturday) i took 3mgs klonopin, 100mg lyrica at 11am, and smoked weed all day, and at around 7pm i had 2 beers and i got really fucked up...nodding harddd...sunday i had to work but dosed 100mg lyrica and 100mg tramadol...dont really remember that day...monday morning i took 100mg lyrica and it was an excellent anxiolytic throughout the whole day giving me a strong urge to just run my mouth lmfao and i have SAD so just interacting with people brought on a good euphoria..around 4pm i had .25mg klonopin, another 50mg of lyrica, smoked a couple bongs, and had 4 beers and i felt amazingg....great anxiolytic, even better for SAD than klonopin for me in my case which brings more euphoria but more sedation to the point i go into zombie mode, but lyrica allows me to be extroverted while bringing on a carefree attitude and people around me noticed..it was fucking awsome....this shit is like a miracle drug for me, not so much because of the high (even though it was excellent with klonopin, and oxy), but more for the anxiolytic purposes

sorry for bump, but is it true ketamine and lyrica is a no no, my friends have done it fine, but ive heard seizure reports.

totally untrue. been doing it for weeks now.
though like once a week not chronically and 450mg or less a day. but its quite nice
especially with added d-aspartic acid
so YMMV

no, lyrica is often prescribed in conjunction with other seizure meds, and thus increases their efficiency at preventing seizures. in addition, lyrica increases sedation and possibly euphoria felt by the user.

Pregabalin decreases the release of neurotransmitters such as glutamate, noradrenaline, and substance P (Australian Medicines Handbook). whats the come up time on this,i took 1300mg maybe an hour ago and feel pretty fucked, alot of energy etc, combined with 40mg val, will it get stronger?

All of a sudden, iwas at the desk with my friend holding out my credit card to the cashier. Really unexpected, far out experience. If you're intending to experience it, I'll admit it can be really incredible, novel and, at times, supernatural. Just don't overdo it like I apparently did unintentionally.

That has been my experience with Lyrica as well, especially in high doses, i.e. 1g-ish.

Anyhow, your post reminded me of this one time back in late '05 when I had a friend take me to Hastings after I had consumed around 100-150mg MDMA and 3 hits of LSD. I wanted to get The Mars Volta's "Scabdates". Anyhow, when we got there I was trying to find the CD but every single row of CDs looked exactly the same, I couldn't find the CD and every single CD cover looked the same to me. I ended up standing in one of the rows looking slowly up and down from the ceiling to the floor because rainbow liquids were dripping down from the ceiling and hitting the floor, causing kaleidoscopic explosions on the floor. Everything was warping so badly I could not barely see and I was not suitable to be in public at all. I got to the counter to buy the CD with the guidance of my friend and when they told me the $ total, I could not understand the concept of different amounts of money. I pulled all of the money out of my wallet and just started throwing it down on the counter. At this point my friend took over and payed for it.
I can only imagine how I looked to everyone else in line.
 
on about 600mg now, just feel wonky and spaced out, not that enjotyable but it kills hangovers and is great for sleep.

hasvr friends who take 1-2g and lobe it, i just dont see how that would be fun

I would say 300mg would be a good starting dose for someone not tolerant to GABAergics. Also, this isn't an anti-depressant, you don't need to wait a long period of time to feel its effects. We're talking about recreational drugs, lyrica takes a long time to kick in and that is 1-1.5hours oral. I have a mild GABA tolerance and find 900-1200mg a good dose but have taken 2400mg before and had fun so I wouldn't say you are at risk of ODing and having a bad time. In any case you sound like you would really benefit from some drug/lyrica education so read the lyrica/pregabalin megathread and whatever you can on here. The only real negative side effect I have experienced when you are at the 1000mg plus range is joint pain.

I would think 450 would be recreational for someone like you with 300 being conservative but hey if 300 or 225 (I gather you have 75mg tabs) even works for you then great. The problem with starting low is that the half life is 5-6 hours and it takes a while to kick in so by the time you wait and don't feel much then wait for it to kick in your system has eliminated a decent amount, so start somewhere reasonable. Definitely don't start below 200 and feel free to go up to 600.

well if this GABA thing ur talking about is in any way related too gabapentin(nuerotin) id say fucking horrible... cause i watched my bro flop like a fish and be left stuttering for like 3 days cause of GABApentin, so idk. id just stick too real drugs. like oxymorphone =D..
 
weird side effect i get off high doses besides the shakes, is a weird heavy feeling in my stomach/chest, fluid retention maybe?
 
does anyone else think that lyrica would be a great clubbing drug? its so good for talking to people and dancing athough i tend to lose my train of thought quite easily.

Eh, I'm kinda doubtful of that, just based on extensive experience with conventional clubbing drugs and with pregabalin. I think the disorientation factor would hinder being able to fully let loose in public, but it depends on the dosage. If something like 300mg works for you (recreationally), then, perhaps; but the ataxic side effect only increases with an increase in dosage, and I wouldn't imagine that for someone without a tolerance it would be very safe. And for someone WITH a tolerance, it probably wouldn't be all that euphoric. YMMV though ;)

I've heard of lyrica being compared to MDMA on more than one occasion. I, however, have never tried MDMA yet so can't say myself.
 
Well, once again, pregabalin is only stimulating in high doses. In my drug using days, I wanted to try MDMA with around a 1 gram of pregabalin. I can only imagine! With little to no tolerance 1 gram has gotten me to where a decent dose of MDMA would. I've never been much of a fan of MDMA (MDA is another story), but I would imagine that combo would bring back some of the magic!
