Sunflower and rapeseed(ewww) are a decent source of lecithin, although probably more expensiveThanks for the advice, Delta.. I can't take any sort of probiotics or lecithin though. Well, most lecithin. Usually is made from soy and even the tiniest bit of soy lecithin makes me super ill. Although I hear there is sunflower lecithin available now-any thoughts on that? I ]might try it one day.

That seems plausible. I hate to say it, but microbacterial biology isn't my thingProbiotics- I have always had bad, bad reactions to. I am not sure why, I suspect it is because of my severely damaged gut. I know they say you need probiotics to heal but every time I've tried to take them (*in pill, or kefir, or kombucha, or whatever form) I get huge, very painful pus filled lesions all over my skin + digestive problems. I've tested this many times, there have probably been over 10 different times in my life I've attempted to take probiotics and every time my skin breaks out horribly and I get "stopped up" so to speak. Someone on another forum (scd forum) suggested that people with severe intestinal permeability need to heal that before taking probiotics because the bacteria just leaks out into the blood and causes more autoimmune problems. That seemed to be the case for me, I stopped probiotics and my skin healed and my gut is working normally now.

WTF is vegemite?? You guys are speaking a language I dont understand!!
To me this is like saying "WTF is milk?" or "WTF is bread"?Its funny, if I dont eat breakfast I can go for a long time w/o being hungry but if i do eat bfast i end up hungry again in like 2 hrs--y does that happen?
n3o, i do vegemite on its own on thick "cafe style" raisin toast. no need for butter there.
HeeheeheeTo me this is like saying "WTF is milk?" or "WTF is bread"?

Vegemite is a staple bread condiment in Australia. It's savoury, quite salty, and is perfect on toast with butter. The key for newcomers to Vegemite is to try it very sparingly (like a tiny scraping) on toast or bread with loads of margerine or butter (whichever is your preference).
Wow, people sure seem to eat a hell of a lot of carbs (fruit, toast, cereal) for breakfast. Much as I enjoy eating toast/grains (gluten free, though), or fruit, that much carbohydrate(s) in the morning would make me crash. My breakfast is usually protein and fat heavy, with a smaller amount of carbs later - but I've got the sort of metabolism which seems to respond better to fat and protein than a lot of carbohydrates.
I'm not claiming I've found my ideal way of eating yet, but I'd feel like shit if I had toast or cereal for my morning meal. To each their own, I guess.
