Bassnectar anyone?

I know I'm well late to the party, but I just got into Bassnectar :)

Favourite album Mesmerizing The Ultra (esp. Blow and Leprechauns Arise), Diverse Systems of Throb is pretty sweet too. Newer stuff is alright but I can't see myself listening to it as much as those.
 
Blow, the sound, cozza frenzy, boombox, churn of the century, replenish, IDB w/ Sayr are my favorite tracks of his. But his random remixes he drops and mash ups are sometimes way more insane live... as anyone who has seen him knows... UGH I cant WAIT to see him in February.

Word, his older stuff is wayyyyy better.

Leprechauns Arise is an amazing track, and one of my absolute favorites of his.
That whole album is insanely great, though my favorite has to be Underground Communication. Not one song on that album do I dislike, and I constantly play the entire album the full way through...on repeat...

Oh Lorin, why cant you go back a few years and never fall into the Dubstep-esque trap.

(I saw "esque" as he is not a crapstep artist)
 
He's playing two shows within two months that I plan on seeing. The first is in KC and the second in my hometown. It's going to be my roommates first time rolling, I'm pretty stoked.
 
Excision, Datsik, and bassnectar have been working on some tracks. I read 3 collaborations are completed and will be released in spring spring... like Late march-early april. However, all of those artist will probably be playing it out as soon as a few weeks. Iexpect to hear one of these tracks the next time I see bassnectar.
 
One of the first electronic artists I ever heard and blew my mind. Still a favorite to this day. Can't wait for the show in Memphis next month, gonna be roudy as hell like always!

totally agreed with everything you said, except i think mesmerizing > underground comm
 
HELL YES!! top notch performance from Lorin last night, 10x better than last years seattle show. That place was a multi colored, glowing womp fest of goodness!
 
Saw Bassnectar up in Tahoe @ Montbleu. He blew the speakers halfway through his set. Everybody went home pissed.
 
I just discovered Bassnectar and I'm obsessed. I love this shit!!! Honestly a lot of dubstep bores me but Bassnectar is different. He's more song oriented with a big hip-hop influence. He started in death metal which is cool.

I want to see him live so bad!!

Some people just don't like certain songs......

I personally loved it though, and can't wait to hear their new stuff together :)
