Which "Rare" Psychedelics Do You Want To Try?

Yeah I know it's a quote from wiki. The paper is just synthesis and speculation about activity based on comparisons of certain properties of the ethynyl group with halogens, trifluoromethyl and cyano groups.
 
LSD. :) I've only had it a few times, I'd love to have a supply (i.e. a vial) of my own, but I don't see it happening anytime soon.

Well I found the full text and it's not clear to me either, just speculation and conjecture. I think it was simply based on the following quotes:
The ability to attract or repulse electrons (Hammett constant ) of the ethynyl group is comparable to that of the Br- and I-atom, and the high electronegativity is in the range of that of the CF3 group. The molar refraction is comparable to that of Br.

Studies on the in vitro mechanism of the oxidation of -bonds of p-substituted ethynylbenzenes by CYP450 [20] showed that the role of metabolite formation was strongly dependant on the electronic properties of additional substituents. An additional NO2 group led to slow metabolism. With an additional Me group, the metabolism was fast. This suggests that 2C-YN (1) bearing two MeO groups and an alkyl side chain would be metabolized quite fast.

to be honest, i wouldnt injest any of these "research chemicals" fuck that, noone knows what happens to people 50 years down the road after taking crap like this (2c-x, mephedrone, any of that shit)

its all garbage. stick with drugs with 50+ years of research.

Weren't the 2cs created back in the 70s? It's not like they were first synthed last week.
 
I may be wrong here, but I was under the impression that the pharmacology of the common phens and trypts is pretty similar to that of well studied compounds like psilocin and lsd? and they can be considered somewhat safe?

yes, they were synthed in 1970-1980's.

30 years later they are still known as research chemicals.

meaning the effects are still being studied.

constantine's army used opium in order to ease the pain of marching long distances, this was 1700 years ago.
 
I really want to try 2c-b. It sounds like the most pleasant and recreational 2c-x. Sadly, I'll probably never get to try it due to its illegality. That's probably the only 2c-x I still have a desire to try. I don't care much for them, although 2c-c was great, and 2c-d needs a subsequent trial, but unfortunately I do not feel like ingesting either chemical. I still have about 500mg of both.

4-HO-MET is on its way. I love tryptamines so I have a desire to try most. 4-AcO-MiPT/DiPT is on my list as well. I'd like to get pure 4-HO-DMT but that'll never happen. I could just eat mushrooms but I'd like to see how psilocin stands on its own. Other then that, I'd like to experiment with most tryps.

and the NBOMes as well.

The effects of existence are still being studied and I suspect everything branching out will keep on getting looks back over time.

Opiates are still used today to treat pain.

The "research chemicals" origin has more to do with only dr00gs being covered by the federal analogue act. Names will stick because they have been previously named as such!
 
The term "Research Chemicals" is rather broadsweeping and, in fairness, a little misleading.

Anyway, I'd love to try DOM. Missed the opputunity when it was about...
 
I really want to get my hands on some DOx of any kind, preferable DOM or DOC.
Also, I reallly want to try some 2C-T-21.

As for DOC, it's hard to come by in my land.
 
There are a couple oddities in pihkal I want to try. I've always thought the non psychedelic, euphoria inducing thiobuscaline sounded intriguing. And also, 2-me-DMT. Some of that plus some sexy time with the girlfriend would be really nice. And I want to try 2C-B as well. I've never come across it, since it's illegal and can't be obtained from other more accessible sources.
