Seriously, all of these are not just retarded but are plain ignorant, and it seems like there's never anything you can do to convince them otherwise, so I've defaulted to "shut up" being the party line. One of the few things that can actually annoy me when I'm rolling

I hate in when meth heads talk down about crack heads like they are so much better. A hoe tweaker will say something like "a tweaker might get with the dealer to get her fix, but a crackhead will fuck anybody for a 20 rock." Crack addiction is bad, and so is meth, dumb fucks.

Hahaha I agree w/ this so much. Most of my friends smoke and I usually refrain and then whenever I say something weird they're all like "Omg he's so contact high!!" No, I always say weird shit, but now you're high so it just seems weirder.

but how can the number be said to be in existence if it is not, nor has it ever been perceived or used

(tree falls in the forest, does it make a sound? ;) )

because, after all, all a number is is a mechanism for describing the nature of something in the world (ie. how many of something there is)
i think this example is also a little different to calling the guy who first synthesised LSD the inventor of LSD... because if the universe is infinite then that means that for any number you can think of there is that many of something in the universe (atoms for example) so the thing that the number is describing (however many atoms you want to count) has been there before you made your number to describe it
whereas there was no LSD before the dude synthesized it and rode his bicycle home and got scared of his chair and all that shit... so he is said to have 'invented' it....

hmmm.... but i guess if the universe is infinite then there must have been LSD chemically existent in some corner of space and time before it was synthesised by humanity
that however trivialises the whole idea of 'inventing' something... so maybe it's more practical to just say that yes, Albert Hofmann did 'invent' LSD in the sense that he was the first human to synthesise and use it
but if you want to be all spacey and pointlessly philosophical then yeah he just stumbled upon something that already existed and attached his name to it... bloody hack

lol yeah this one drives me crazy. I always reply with "So is opium, and there are about a million plants out there that contain cyanide and other highly toxic chemicals".

Right on man im getting tired of weed being bandied about as some harmless cure-all, especially since I witness cannabis induced paranoia and psychosis every day
