Can opiates help benzo withdrawal

I went off xanax while on my normal Oxycodone regimen. Cant remember what long acting opiate I was on at the time.. but it was fine.. not that I suggest you do this.

just wanted to say yes they do allow benzos its just what yer on and how much you can take i have to go in and tell them what im on and how much so they can find out what ammount i can take and when ...

What levels of benz's?

i tried taking significant amounts of oxycodone to ward off the effects of alprazolam (xanax) withdrawal. Needless to say, it didn't work out very well at all. I wasn't able to sleep, i developed tremors, anxiety (although the oxycodone helped somewhat with that), my mind was racing, i started sweating. I also ended up experiencing paranoia. So definitely no in my books.

ill just say that in my personal experience getting off opiates is way easier than benzos.
i cant go off benzos period and when im low the experience realy sux ,going even a day off benzos kills me ,i start shaking after 1 day even with half lifes ,dont matter i have gone 2 days once and was a wreck till i got my script and took a shitload so i could sleep it off.....but thats me.
my use ids clonazepams temazepams nozinans and other crap...

Dropping off the lowest dosage of Xanax (0.25mg) made me feel like complete crap, so yea as I was saying benzos are a bitch to withdraw from.

Yeah, withdrawals, even from a small drop are nasty. That's how I tapered off it though. 0.5mg every month until I reached 1mg I converted to 20mg Diazepam and then reduced dose by 5mg every month until I reached 2mg. Now I'm off. Took a year of planning.

i may as well just get off the clinic because i dont know how im gonna get off the benzos, but i have heard from many MMT patients that klonopin wont show up because it metabolizes differetly than most benzos and has to be specifically tested for...........

For the third or whatever time, IT WILL SHOW UP! It doesn't metabolize in some odd way that makes it not show up.

Listen, I am on Suboxone and I have to take a urine test EVERY month. I was on Klonopin for ages. It showed up on EVERY one of my drug tests. Its NOT exclusive.

once you stop them both you won't be high and will withdraw... not necessarily 'will' per se but you will be 'off' most probably

ok so why are tons of ppl on Meth clinics passing when they take klonopin and failing when they take xanax ?
