Can opiates help benzo withdrawal

I've had mixed results, but none too terrible from op's. The worst is I started getting insomnia and a little energy kick instead of sedation, but without anxiety.
The worst thinkg I ever tried was hydroxyzine. It caused me severe RLS and PLMD and horrible muscle aches, insomnia, etc. Totally sucks but many recomend it. I don't at all. Try Lyrica or Gabapentin.

The reason many people say that Klonopin does not come up positive on MMT drug screens in my opinion is the poor quality of mouth swab testing which is widely used at MMT clinics versus the more expensive urinalysis which it will show up on even at a low dose. SWIM was on MMT maintenance for many years and on klonopin 2 mg daily and tested weekly for months and never came up positive for benzos until taking a 10mg ambien. Sorry to be off topic but it seems many people keep asking this question on this thread. It is just an opinion I am sharing and maybe I'm wrong but what I am saying is what happened to SWIM and others maybe take a count on who had swabs and who had urines.

Do not bump old threads. (especially if you have nothing of value or relevancy to add.)

BDD is a fast moving forum, bumping old threads gums up the works.

See the State of BDD, BDD Guidelines, and the BLUA. Links to which are below in my signature.

We also do not "SWIM" here at Bluelight, nor do we discuss drug testing.
