Not tried IM but it does sound great too. IV 4-AcO is kinda like IV ket in a funny kinda way - incredibly intense but also so overwhelming it can be hard to process. Get the impression that the ket analogy would apply with IM too - smoother and easier to integrate. Heard good things about it :)

I do hope that anyone who is considering IVing the stuff does so with more caution than i did though. Do as I say and not as I do may sound hypocritical but it's also quite true :D

Also, I tried it IV in combo with 3-MeO-PCP last night (very low dose of each) and it was just beautiful. Other than when I fucked up and took a dirty hit from atrocious IV hygiene - do as I say...

I'm thinking a Ketamine + 4-AcO/HO-DMT combo would be amazing, both I.M.'d and I.V.'d There is a TR on Erowid of a I.M. shot of Psilocin and Ketamine and the way it is described just seems like my cup of tea. How did the 3-MeO-PCP effect the 4-AcO? I always find Tryptamines and Dissociatives to be an amazing combo but when it's one of my favorite Tryptamines and my favorite Dissociative then i don't see where it can go wrong? Just have to take proper dosing precautions, going to cut the dose to 1/3 of the normal I.M. dose of each. When I do experience this I'm sure it will be worthy of me writing a TR, we'll see though.
 
My doses for the combo were fairly low (possibly) as it's probably fairly uncharted territory - maybe 3-5mg of 4-AcO and 5-7mg of 3-MeO. Approximately twice as much of the latter anyway (the amounts I have are so small after accidentally losing most of the samples I had that my scales aren't up to weighing them :\). I also suspect there must have been some tolerance from my recent 4-AcO IV experimentation.

I found it extremely mellow and dreamy - far more of a chilled vibe than either alone. The 3-MeO seemed to be the primary effect but was definitely altered in a not unpleasing fashion. I've never really combined a tryptamine with a dissociative but if that's at all representative that's a situation I'll have to look into rectifying :D

One thing, IV psilocin was very dissociating and incredibly confusing at times itself for me. But not in the same way as ket or the 3-MeO (which I only have very limited experience with anyway). Have a feeling it would go well with ket but the confusion level could get out of hand. I would definitely approach combos like this with great caution and start very low - the dose/response curve of psilocin seems to be an odd one and tiny differences in dose seem to produce profound difference in effects.

I think I will attempt a TR but am still putting the whole experience together in my head so far. It was a long way from Earth for a while :D
 
So if I dilute 4-Aco-DMT into 1mg/mL solution of bacteriostatic water, how long should I need to heat it for it to dissolve? If I want to leave it all in one container, and pull out ml's out in the future, is this going to be an accurate way to liquid measure? How long should this solution stay good for if I put it into my freezer/fridge for a while?

I think that's about it.

Will it micron filter well, even if I need to heat it to dissolve the 4-aco-dmt?
 
Just heat gently till it dissolves - doesn't take long at all but couldn't be more specific really. May well dissolve in cold water with time and a bit of shaking but I'm more of the impatient type ;)

Not sure about how well it would store as I believe it degrades rather rapidly in solution. Check the Storage & Solutions Thread to see what folks who know what they're talking about say on the matter.

I've never micron filtered but doubt you'd have a problem at all and would be a wise move.

I went through a good part of the thread, without finding much information at all.

This is what's frustrating - I see it mentioned. I am assuming what I need (the thread is full of questions and no answers - could I possibly collect all the answers in the thread and post them all in one post so it can all be found at one point?) is a dessicant, a vial (amber preferably). I don't know how you would store both of these things (I could fit a vial w/ the 4-aco in it, next to dessicant inside a media bottle) - Are there stores that sell dessicants? I can only find places online.
 
Keep it as a powder - weigh off say 50mgs make into solution with h2o - srew cap on ( add label identifying contents & mgs/ml) - store in cool dry place - bingo - use on an as wanted basis - pretty much the same for everything water soluble
 
I am interested in railing 4-AcO-DMT. Has anyone tried it? How is it, and what would be a good measurement for a +++ trip or something comparable to an 2/8ths of shrooms.
 
It's quite pleasant and completely painless snorted but have only sniffed small amounts for slight sparkles. Used around 10mg but had a light tolerance after dosing a coupla days running so would probably have been stronger if I hadn't.

It's potent stuff and seems to have a fairly wide range of doses so best to start low. Pretty sure there must be people who've sniffed it for full-blown trips who would know better than I. The oral dose is pretty low and kicks in quick anyway and seems to be the most popular method though.

I've been snorting this one lately and what I notice is it takes a long time to start coming up.. makes me wonder if it really does have to metabolize into 4-HO-DMT first.

Either that or it hardly gets absorbed nasally - I also had somewhat a full stomach, last time it seemed to take a full hour to really start tripping good. Doesn't seem like there's much difference between snorting and just eating on an empty stomach.
 
I have some in capsules, but I don't know exactly how much is in them - somewhere between 10mg and 15mg

what would be the best way for me to try to take 25mg?
2 capsules is 20 to 30 mg, so would 30 mg be too intense?

I've taken 4-aco-dmt intranasally dozens of times... I found it took about the same amount of time to kick in as orally. Need about the same amount as oral also.

One thing though ... almost every time i've snorted 4-aco-dmt - i usually end up hacking up phelgm that has a slight blue color tint to it... !?? My wife has the same experience.
 
Hey guys, plugging this is definitely my favourite way of doing it, however I think i need some technique advise from someone more experienced at it than me?

I have it stored in a liquid solution and use a 5mL syringe with lube to get it in there. I wipe thoroughly afterwards but I can't escape the feeling of something foreign being in my butt for up to an hour or two afterwards... and it really kinda brings the trip down. Am I using too much lube? is there another way to get a liquid in there, while using less or no lube? thanks :)
 
so i've read that intranasal administration has the same time frame as taking it oral on an empty stomach. is this intranasal also on an empty stomach? would intranasal administration be preferred if one had a full stomach?

in short, does ones stomach contents affect the time frame with the intranasal ROA? i'd assume not but i'd like to hear from someone who has actual experience
 
I'm rather excited that I'll get to try this soon. There's just one thing I was wondering. How long does an IV dose last? I have heard from Shambles 30 minutes, and someone else hours.

Do you think it is dose dependent? How long do you think 15mg IV would last?
