๐ŸŒŸ๐ŸŒŸ Social ๐ŸŒŸ๐ŸŒŸ Gibberings ver. CCXIX - "what's new, c*nty chops?"

Went to buy Tesco vodka. Big mistake. Not just the quality of the vodka, but there was a screaming kid.

I keep telling it to shut up and the parents, to their credit, knew the kid was a nuisance, but it just kept on wailing.

By the time I was at the tills, it'd shat itself, but it also kept on wailing. Stank the place out.

I couldn't contain myself, so I end up saying 'fucking die' to the child. Never had the tag taken off my vodka so quickly.

The fucking Royal Mail are taking the piss even more now. Apparently 7:30pm is now a reasonable delivery.

From someone who saw two deliveries a day not so long ago, that's ridiculous. They must be really skint.

The fuckin bin men are taking the piss round my way. It's been nearly a month now since our black bins were emptied. Bags are piling up in the street.

I feel like i'm in fuckin Birmingham...

Do you pronounce it "Birming-HAAM" ? as I've noticed Americans tend to do with such place names, eg "Bucking-HAAM Palace," not 'Buckingum" as us Brits pronounce it?

I dunno if it's very insular to expect the rest of the world to know all the intricacies and subtleties of how all of our place names should be pronounced. Some of them are very easy to get wrong, to be fair, if you hadn't already heard the correct pronunciations.

Worcestershire and Gloucestershire are a couple of my favourite tongue twisters for hearing people mangle pronouncing them. Even Brits that haven't seen those names in print before, and have never heard them pronounced correctly, make a total hash of those!

TBF it does work the other way too. I've heard Brits mangle Arkansas as "Are Cansas" :ROFLMAO:
