@SuperPsych &
@ions – I think the real magic starts to happen at ~80mg and up. I've taken as much as 200 mg at once (and tripped hard), so the safety profile seems decent to me. I think the amounts reported by Shulgin, et al. in PIHKAL are quite low and it takes 1.5x - 2x as much as what was reported. Something like that, anyways, but do note: the body load picks up with the higher doses. I like to have something physical to get into – like dancing or going for a walk/hike, maybe bike around in a safe place. It also makes for a moderately effective aphrodisiac, though it isn't pushy about this in any way.
I've coupled it with MDMA and had a nice candy flip, but the AL took a backseat on that one. It merged much better with MDA, I thought, really drawing out the fine, light-driven visuals of the experience, which ordinarily isn't only mildly psychedelic, yet with the Allylescaline's longer duration, the MDA really kept up nicely and seemed to be lengthened a bit by the AL. It also goes really well with some vaporized/toked DMT and/or
Changa blend. Ketamine steps on its toes a bit, but I had a good time mixing AL with both 3-Me-PCP and O-PCP, fwiw.
I find the doses reported in PIHKAL to be quite low; effective
and impressive doses are roughly 1.5x to 2x higher. Higher doses increase body load, so physical activities like dancing or hiking are beneficial. It also acts as a mild aphrodisiac.
Combining with MDMA results in a nice candy flip, but AL takes a backseat. MDA blends well, enhancing visuals and extending the experience. It pairs well with vaporized DMT or changa, but ketamine can step on its proverbial toes a bit. Both 3-Me-PCP and O-PCP mixed well with AL though, in my experiences.
