i watched the omen prequel - the first omen

it was excellent.

the original omen movie from 1976 is an absolute classic to me and i really enjoyed this. and it left a thread or two untied so i fully expect another one

I'm curious about Nosferatu. I take it you enjoyed it. It's just that absolutely love the original ( even if those old silent movies are kind of simple and corny) and I'm suspicious of remakes disappointing me. But I love vampire stuff

I think most fans of the original like this one too.

It's very "artsy" , at least compared to most mainstream films.

A lot of the enjoyment I got from it was the atmosphere/mood and the visuals.

I think you should give it a shot.

You mean Wicked? No, I forgot to go. I think it's still playing locally. Maybe I'll track it down. I'm always in more of a movie mood at this time of year.
I also want to see the new Almodovar movie when it comes out

Felon (2008)

Half way through I realized it's literally the same exact plot as Shot Caller (2017). Even the actor Chris Browning plays the same exact role in both movies. It's kinda weird... was it supposed to be a remake?

Rewatched Shivers a good early Cronenberg movie. Havent seen it in ages

The Substance was great. Probably just a touch overrated just based on the over the top praise I had read from some critics. Probably the best example of a Black Mirror plot made into a theatrical film. Well acted too, was glad to see Demi get the golden globe.

Decent enough horror/thriller. Seems to be a lot of films now have an ‘influencer’ either going into haunted forests or doing this. At least it doesn’t drag and a bit unique in the premise.
