🌟🌟 Social 🌟🌟 What's the last film you saw? v. Why doesn’t Peter Jackson wear shoes?

I finally watched Lawrence of Arabia on 4K UHD disc and it was absolutely stunning. There has never been any other film quite like it. If people can’t stomach a four hour epic anymore I don’t know what the world has come to.

I can see why the now out of print discs are fetching upwards of $120 on eBay.

10/10 so glad I bought it when it was still in print!

We went to see the much lauded 'small things like these' as it was finishing it's cinema run, Cillian Murphy stars, a master of his craft and a great guy all round. I however was totally underwhelmed. Cillian has the midas touch when picking roles, and deservedly so.
Alas, this movie didn't cut the mustard. He won't look back fondly at this abomination

I watched this recently too. It was just barely memorable as boring. And I am a Cillian Murphy fan.

The Ceremony Is About To Begin (2025)

This was actually quite a decent found footage horror that concerns a cult with Egyptian overtones. More about a documentary filmmaker that goes to investigate the cult and then things go wrong for him. Don’t really want to spoil it.

It was on Prime here in the UK.
