Just Watches hitman from robert linklater. Wasnt that impressed but all in all there wasnt much stuff from him that I really liked. A Scanner darkly is still his Best, by far.

 
just saw The Substance for the first time in theaters a little bit ago, 10/10 loved it

Smile 2....6/10 liked the first one better. this one was confusing as in you didnt know what was real & what was a hallucination. the lead actress was very good, have never seen her before.

I liked it better than you, but I agree the original was better.

I think Smile borrows a lot from the masterpiece It Follows

and I think the issues Smile 2 had illustrates the challenges of forcing sequels where they don't necessarily belong.

It follows released in 2014. They Follow will release over a decade later. And I trust the director waited that long because he didn't want to churn out mediocre rehashing of the original.
 
I just rewatched 24 hour party people. Great movie i like it far better then the other movie about Joy Division control. And yes in know 24 hour party people is not only about joy division i just liked the depiction of Ian and the bandmates better in 24 hour. I also love the part of it with the happy mondays where they are at the airport and the methadone goes flying all over the place and they try and snort it up. If that was my morphine id be doing the same lol
 
Juror #2...decent clint eastwood movie...about a murder trial & a juror struggling with a moral dilemma, dont want to spoil it, so nuff said, stars toni collette, & jk simmons. 6/10
