🌟🌟 Social 🌟🌟 What TV Shows are You Binging v. Cut That Cord!

Just watched:

Cyberpunk: Edgerunners - absolutely fire - also playing Cyberpunk 2077 for the 3rd time through currently and hoping to start a tabletop group with Cyberpunk RED over the winter, wife got me the book for my birthday

Anyone watching Industry on HBO? Sex, Drugs, Finance - very current and super dope music.. It bops.

Finally finished The Wire, binged it in 2 weeks. Had never finished it before because every time I'd sit down to watch it there would be a voice in my head telling me to re-watch the Sopranos for the 7th time

Thoughts? It has been a long time for me. I think I remember liking 1 & 3 the best.

I do enjoy a Sopranos rewatch though. That sounds intriguing.

I started watching LOTR Rings of Power again. At first I hated it, partially because it takes creative liberties I disagreed with, some fan service boot licking, but also the writing seemed mediocre at best. I felt like Tolkien would be rolling in his grave. Couldn't make it past episode 4.

But it does get a lot better once I let my prejudice fade. I enjoy it. Currently on season 2. I'm surprised I didn't see any announcement that season 2 was available.

Wife has been watching Xena: Warrior Princess and Hercules these past weeks, I watch some when I'm getting ready for work or cooking. Pretty cheesy 90s shows but entertaining to see a number of (to be) great actors get cameos. I'm glad Peter Jackson went with Cate Blanchet over Lucy Lawless for Galadriel in LOTR though.

I'm really loving season 2. Shit really starts popping off, and Sauron's reveal was amazing, that was a surprising treat.

I gotta say, there are so many fanservice references, it's very cool but also kind of annoying to my cynical ways... and it makes me wonder, are they going to save any cool stuff for s3? Is there even going to be a season 3? It has not been greenlit yet, and the first two seasons cost the most money ever, but I doubt it has made much money back at all... amazon claims season 1 was profitable even with a $1b budget, and relatively poor viewership and completion rate. But then again, $1b is pocket change to Amazon, and their profits are very diversified.

I kind of hope it doesn't end with season 2, because it's starting to get really fucking good and addictive to watch.

i've been watching historical korean dramas.
both the zombie kind and the cheesy love kind.

They give me so many free trials I almost never pay for Amazon Prime (which comes with their video streaming service). I get a 30 day free trial every year, and also 3 day free trials throughout the year as well. I don't think I've ever actually paid for Amazon Prime, but I do buy stuff off their website while on the trials, which is maybe why they keep offering them.

Click on it and see if they offer a free trial.

If they don't, put an item in your shopping cart and click all the way through until the shipping cost page, then close the website without paying and wait a few days. Come back, and see if they offer a free trial then. That trick works a lot.

Mary and George, its awesome IMO,big Julianne Moore fan and Grotesqueri, love anything Ryan Murphy directs, Neicy Nash-Betts is great in it.
