🌟🌟 Social 🌟🌟 What TV Shows are You Binging v. Cut That Cord!

does anybody here use Kodi or Jellyfin?

maybe i should start a thread about it

that would be mint

I use it and have every network on my palm with the add on and RD for 2$ so it streams 4k

I also have some subscriptions like basic etflix just for to feel less bad watching, Sugar, Fallout, every best streaming network is covered

^ awesome 😎 👍 Always one to re-watch.

Not quite TV programme (say the book was great).

Liking first few episodes of this.

I watched all of Archangel (2006) the other day. Pretty decent for a three part TV movie thriller about disclosed Soviet documents and filmed in Russia, starring Daniel Craig and originally aired on the BBC.

Dark Matter not bad
Servant is sick funny Toby Kebbel is great actor, and Dorothy character is very funny
apple Tv+ delivers with TV shows atleast good production and actors

i started shogun - i remember the book making quite a splash when it was published in 1975. the show is very good so far.

That's on my list, enjoyed Rik Mayall's bits in Blackadder.

Unrelated (scifi), I'm watching FarScape for the first time.

I've seen Stargate SG-1 a number of times and never knew the leads in the last few seasons also did FarScape.

they didn't fit that well in SG-1 but it's a tall order to fill in for MacGuyver after ten seasons.

I love both those shows. Farscape in particular is so, so underrated. Ben Browder does a great job filling in for Richard Dean Anderson in SG-1 imo.

I found it but there were no subs for it and sadly my computer died before i got to watch it anyway

what language was it in? there are some text to speech AI models that might do a good enough job to make it comprehensible... but some nuance might be lost in translation

yeah he had his moments but the show felt kind of dead with half the original cast gone

Icelandic. I never thought of that thats a good idea. I would kill to see that movie again with the subs

"Just don't... kree."

My wife and I loved both those shows so much that our dog is named 'Moya' and we taught her "kree!" as a replacement for shouting "come here!".

Dog, Kree! It works pretty well, albeit strangers look at us funny when we shout Kree lol

Don't know how I missed this, but started "Mayor of Kingstown" and am on Ep 4 season 1.

It has a kinda "class" about it. A "class" I enjoy.

UPDATE 17 August 2024

Just finished season 3. Definitely in my top ten. Worth seeing.
