Professor Nutt's magic jizz (Sentia)

Not sure if this point has been mentioned yet in the thread, but if it really did work as a viable and effective alcohol alternative, the powerful and influential alcohol industry would be on the government's back lobbying like fuck to get it banned.

Nutt really cannot win with this. If it ever does actually work he will fall foul of the NPS ban and the drinks industry.

Or profiting with him or simply making a spin of his product. But in reality we are talking about just another RC/legal high mix with a spin it’s entry point to market wont be as for usual RCs and also audience targeted is way broader. I don’t think it can get around any blanket bans, but in other countries it might get available until problems start. To name a few – addiction (if it’s better than booze it’ll be addictive, period), driving under influence and kids getting high on it.

But to not make it age-restricted product is a shitty, dick, money-hungry idiot move!!! Same as smart shops selling all kinds of shitty stuff to minors, as most adults rather get real drugs.

If you like Rum you'll probably love Cacacha. Traditional Rum made from raw Cane juice, instead of refined Cane sugar. Feels cleaner and tastewise beats regular Rum by a mile. Btw a good Polish Vodka especially the one with Bisongrass in it is actually quite good. and Stolinchnaya. Compared to the more common brands. I hated badly distilled Alcohol, all Whiskey's, 5% Beer and Wine. But what I am 5 weeks sober Alcohol is something from the past.

On my to do list is Pagoclone, the active substance in Nutts previous Alcohol replacement Alcarelle. The pellets are 10 mg. so I'll start with an half. Any idea how much was in the drink Nutt created? Yeah I know I am to lazy to look it up, just to find the ingredients say 'propriatery blend¨.

In my early years I only got drunk a few occasions resulting mostly in a puke fest.

But later in live when I was rock bottom and almost isolated drinking quickly became a habit that ended in addiction. My sleep was also affected but with me it was the other way around it prevented me from it.
Now I have been addicted three times before. To GHB, Kratom and Methoxetamine. And all three were quitable on my own. They are a bit in order of magnitude of wd. Methoxetamine has little to no wd ime. GHB was very short but pretty intense.

Now Alcohol is an whole different beast. Even after stopping before multiple times, deliberate or finacially related. Relapsing always happened and the main reason is the lenght and severety of the wd. Which I had underated as it takes me about a month to feel a bit human again. At 5 week atm :)

The price will remain in the middle. Lets just say GHB was the cheapest drug I ever took/ made. Well along with the second age synthetic Cannabinoid's, I prefered the ones that were not to strong or inactive. The continues changing of these substances finally made me quite them tired of all the researchin that went into that.

Didn't get addicted to them neither. And Cannabis still worked, so I decided to turn back to the plant. Which was a wise choice in hindsight, these full agonist's are really not for human conssumtion. .

Haven't got any experience with pagaclone, congrats on your 5 weeks alcohol free. I'm not a huge drinker these days myself.

Thanks, keep it that way, Alcohol really had me by the balls. That it almost seems impossible that its legally sold.

Not that I became a saint, other Gaba-ergic's I will keep using, sparingly. And occasionally some Kratom.

It also doesn't help that alcohol is everywhere and easy as hell to get hold of

How much kratom were you taking when you were addicted, and how did you quit it?

I agree with this. Alcohol is everywhere..but hopefully alcarelle will also be everywhere.

Why? If it works it will be creating a new generation of addicts. If it doesn't work (very likely) it will be lining Prof. Nutt's already very deep pockets

Yep, I said this from the outset.

The PSA is designed to protect the alcohol and tobacco industry.


Having said that, if Nutt does really produce a significant competitor to alcohol, then he'll make an absolute fortune when the booze industry buys him out.

But that's a big 'if'....

Rougly around or above 15 grams a day, quality Kratom the headshops Kratom is about half the strenght. Till the point that either it began to make me feel lethargic and slightly depressed. Then I knew it was time to taper and take a time out for a while.

Or when I went through my supply and didn't order in time. So a forced break you could call it. Those ones I ussually didn't have enough to taper and would feel wd's for about 5 days and recover. This are all just guesses as it was 15 years ago at least. Just recently with an dental procedure scheduled I ordered it for the first time in years. I am on it right now doing 15 grams a day so permanent tolerance definitely occured.

But wd wise Alcohol is way worse and far longer stretched out then Kratom ( 4 weeks vs 1 week ). Even GHB had worse wd fhen Kratom but less then Booze.

Nutt is going to licence it to the alcohol companies. He said he'd rather walk away than be " bought and shelved" by any one particular alcohol company.

I reckon you ll see something like:

Heineken normal
Heineken alcarelle
Heineken zero

as a selection going forward in the bars or supermarket post release of alcarelle, and all the drinks companies will follow suit.

On what premise? And why would it be if this first product isn’t?

Even powder alcohol in NL isn’t age limited as it doesn’t fit definition of alcoholic drink!

If this shit ever hits the shells it’ll be purely up to sellers (even if bottle will have nuber 18 on it) as is with energy drinks.

Proper “booze replacement” should be used to treat alcoholics, this will just create new ones. I just can imagine hoards of kava drinkers, potheads, health freaks and such getting into this to just continue drinking real alcohol after.

Dude you are an alarmists. Something that's mild isn't going to cause addiction - we don't have tea drinkers sitting in cafes all day everyday.
