Why is it illogical to assume that people will die in the future from the virus if it is not illogical to assume that people will die in the future from the vaccines?

so yet again, following repeated requests. you have not posted the data from the original screenshots that you posted. the data you have supplied does match a later screenshot of yours, but it was not the one i was requesting the data from, as per the quote below, and my request for the actual data that came from, before you posted the other screenshot (which does match).

none of this changes the fact that the data you have posted in support of your own conclusions, has, twice, undermined your conclusions. and yet, you dig in.

The following two snapshots are taken from ONS datasets compiled to XLS, obviously from other FOI requests. The figures differ slightly but you can see they are clearly based around the same dataset as the pattern correlates between the two snapshots and the table in the link above. Even on the ONS website the requests figures don't always match precisely between FOIs either.

Where's the pandemic. Again, apart from April/May 2020 (which we know is due to deliberate government/NHS policy killing people), where the fuck is the pandemic?

there are further requests for this data in posts 588, and 555.

i incorrectly assumed that you'd actually posted the data i requested repeatedly. you did not, and the data disagree yet again with the data you posted in these screenshots, and now that i can see your processing i can see not to trust it. i take responsibility for not having realised you had posted another screenshot. i had repeatedly requested the data for your original screenshots prior to this,

i do not take responsibility for the fact that you have repeatedly evaded posting the data for your original screenshots and have now twice posted data that undermines them.

i retract my request for the original data. you have wasted enough of my time and it is clear you don't have a dataset that supports your beliefs, otherwise you would have posted that instread of the two that contradict them.

That shit has been seen by how many millions of people worldwide? And to exacerbate the fuck up: those clips will no doubt have found their way onto FB groups and Twitter and forums and pages and pages of shit have been the result. Those people were irresponsible and that's all there is to it.

I agree with you about the drug companies though.

as SS has now shown us beautifully twice, there were signifiant excess deaths in the UK in the pandemic, despite lockdowns etc.

The above being said and as a direct result of this thread: I'm keen to dig into our statistics and figures. Our numbers are miniscule compared to everywhere else. So my logic is that there's less of a margin for error no? I mean to say: yesterday we only had 4 373 new cases and the grand total of 21 people that kicked the bucket. What I'd now like to know is of those new cases: how many had already been fully vaccinated and how many of those 21 unfortunate souls had been fully vaccinated and how many had this new super duper Omicron variant. I'm not seeing that granular data anywhere. But if I find it I'll post about it. May be worth something. My point being: with such low numbers how fucking difficult can it be to fathom out. Hopefully some local talk show host has the same questions. Mind you: probably stand a better chance of getting answers by listening to the BBC World Service!

i can see where you are coming from though in general the larger the population, the greater the statistical power. the probability of 21 people dying by chance is greater than the probability of 159 people (yesterday's UK total, according to the guardian) dying by chance. given the above discussion i'd actually really love to know the probability of the 2020 death toll occurring by chance.

there are corrections you can do for smaller sample sizes.

you are right though, with smaller numbers you can really get to the bottom of what is happening- assuming you have decent data and it covers potential confounders.

i think everyone should dig into datasets like these, open data is fucking brilliant. its difficult in this case to go in agnostic which will mean you can bring your biases into the analysis without even realising. i analyse my data at work 'blind' for this reason. you do have to be careful though, its one thing to have a play about with it and notice some potential trends, another thing entirely believe your conclusions without independent validation.

There is so much hate in this thread it is pathetic. The comments people have made against one another, about a virus of all things, is atrocious. If everyone on here pounds their keyboard a little harder in an effort to be right and mock their fellow man I wonder where we will be next year when maybe Covid is under control. Who will win the great debate? Will it be the almighty vaxxed that want us all to die and be rid of us, or will it be the anti vaxxed that watch the others perish from complications?

So many in here should be ashamed of yourselves. Nobody is getting anywhere with their links and graphs and science because you are preaching to the choir. Never the twain shall meet and if you think anyone is going to win in this hateful thread you are mistaken. Covid din't divide us.....threads like this divide us.
