Well it depends where you live, but it hovers around 1% which might not sound that bad but its enough to kill over 5 million people worldwide. And its so transmissible that at one point everyone will either be vaccinated or have gotten sick. Would you rather get sick and roll the dice? Not to mention the long term effects of covid which aren't totally understood right now but there's evidence that it damage the lungs, heart and brain. There's people who are permanently disabled from covid. Fatality rate isn't everything. The flu has a fatality rate of less than 0.1% and getting the flu still sucks. I've had some pretty ugly episodes of flu and I wouldn't wish that upon anybody.
The safest course of action for individuals is getting the vaccine.
And downplaying the significance of something that has killed 5 million people is irresponsible if you ask me. Thats over a million benghazis.
