@Abject: it is an average healing time from different ppl who have taken different dosages in the past. a mean or median of accumulated knowledge from past experiences. some complications arise and some are exceptions. those who took less than 5 injections are in the average healing range of 8-10 months. those who took more are looking at a slightly longer time frame. other psych meds, drugs, stress and how well you work towards becoming fully healed among other things are factors that can shorten it or lengthen it. anyone who has contributed to this site and thread has added to the collective knowledge of an unknown chemical that is being prescribed with the hopes of helping and more likely than not hurting those who take it. seeing as it was pretty experimental to begin with there was not much information to be passed around. even the official websites for this medication updates effect/symptoms every few years. i.e. there are more now then there used to be but still not covering them all.
for example the guy who started this thread was almost fully healed but then was forced back onto it again and now is taking longer. some ppl have taken more and healed in less than the average time, some have taken less and are taking longer, but these are exceptions. very rare as well as few and far between. the side effect/withdrawal symptoms seem to be pretty much all the same as far as the reports go on this thread. there are other sites that have similar experiences. we here like to stay positive as we can be, experiment with things that might ease our suffering in hopes of finding an antidote to the poison, find solace from each other cause only those who took the poison really know what it's like and from time to time we vent or talk of non invega related things to break the cycle of what we are going through. we try to do the best we can with what we got.
SJW has helped half of those who took it in the past, i recommend if you haven't tried it to do so. two a day is the limit to take and to the best of my memory only one or two ppl took it while they had some of the poison still in their system. one of them reported positive outcome, the other neutral. naturally giving it one or two weeks to see if it works or not is a good idea and in your case if it doesn't at first then wait a few months for your system to be clean and try again.
the bulk of the healing is a zombie like phase, starts a few months after you stop taking it and will last up until you hit your first window. at that time everything will get much easier better.
here we have abilify users chiming in from time to time but those who took invega are here for the same reasons as them pretty much. some have a mental illness of some kind and the others had a psychotic break and went to the hospital where they were injected with it. some cases are ppl who may or may not have a mental illness but something came up and confusion from the medical community (like those with psychotic breaks) occurred and then next thing they know they wind up here. we are all suffering together and in our own way. what was the reason you got started on the injections? you said you took 2, at what doses?
feel free to post about what you are doing to pass the time, what you try that works out and going with the flow of the conversation. it helps, sometimes just reading and not posting helps.
