It was in my spam folder and stupidly I read it seeing the title "you two faced cow" I was a bit What!!! So I post in a thread and 6 minutes later that email appeared. She's obviously reading our posts. Scary behaviours from someone banned several times as she couldn't stick by the BL rules. Of course she blames everyone but herself.

That'll teach me to read my spam :D

It was particularly nasty, full of horrible name calling and threatening me me to "take this further" if I didn't leave her alone. FFS.

I'm a member of BL I post under the rules - who the hell is she to question my posts or my opinions here.

To think she's set herself up online as anti-trolling. She's the biggest troll out and has years of history of doing it on numerous forums. Liar.

My apologies for letting off steam. Hope she's pleased with herself for disturbing me. I've never been trolled ever on all my days of internet use.

As bear said, keep all information including things said on other sites about you and private emails. That's a pretty low thing to do.


As for going to a site and joining up simply to lurk that site admin will then be able to run ip checks. Etc. In a way... Buyer beware. What killed the cat?

I digress. You shouldn't have been "threatened" the way you were k. Any person that starts campaigns on anti cyber bullying and then goes on to do the same themselves I wouldn't give a second thought to.

Edit: K despite being accused of passing info on, I've never done such a thing. However, I have many examples of such harassment against me via text, reddit and this persons site. Not only harassing me but spreading lies about my family and my personal life as a mother which she later apologised for but in all honesty, you can't take back words. She speculated my circumstances and made those thoughts public for others to believe to be fact.

So yes, to answer your question, has anyone else been subject to this, I have and I was stupid enough to give this person the benefit of the doubt. Even if I can forgive it does not allow person cart blanch to "vent" and lie about people.

I've gotten so much shit for forgiving this person. I still stand by my word. I may look like an idiot but I will not be told who I choose to associate with. I will always find that out for myself.

She's just posted about me there - the undercurrent being if I say anything against her she's going to keep trolling me. It's threatening and she doesn't seem to be aware that she's been trolling a lot of BL members. So she doesn't want to hear peoples' opinions of her, but the internet is littered with this from her previous inappropriate forum postings. Banned from 8 forums!

So why pick on us - are we just her most recent interesting obsession?

What really bugs me and I've reported it, that she's using people's names. Breaching our anonymity and specifically using that sub-redit as a platform to get back at BL posters. It's another platform for her drama. Same with her forum, it's all BL poster hate.

Once the final ban had been made not only was I accused of orchestrating the entire thing I was no longer allowed to post on bl because everything that was said I was sent a text about. Something as arbitrary as posting in the food thread. As a moderator I should be able to contribute with out fear and the reality of 5 texts belittling me for one post.

I feel no need to clarify things for others. Drama begets drama and I wish to be no part of it.

Also as a site owner you are responsible for the things being said. Even if that content is for members only it can still get out to non members. You have a duty of care.

For a site that doesn't wish to slag this site I've been told and shown there is quite a lot of that going on there and in reddit. Using people's real names and making false allegations against people. That kinda stuff isn't on. Sure, it's not okay for others to do that but okay for the "victim" to do the same to others. An eye for an eye never works. It simply makes you as bad as those you accuse. It doesn't help anyone at all or the situation in general. When does it end? Who is the bigger person to let shit go. What will be will be. No?

I've just received a trolling email from she who is not mentioned here. Minutes after I posted in a thread. It's nasty and threatening. I specifically asked her not to email me but it continues.

I've never experienced trolling like this it's quite disconcerting.

She is a tad sensitive about her exclusion from this site and your public comments here were inevitably going to inflame those feelings. Likewise, she shouldn't be using her site as a vessel to express disgruntlement towards existing members here. We have reviewed the situation and posts which have any intention of defaming/slandering BL or its members are against the guidelines and have been/will continue to be removed. I hope both sites can co-exist respecting each other and their members without unnecessary mudslinging.

People really need to know how dangerous this Evey site actually is - the staff cannot be trusted with private information, cannot be trusted with your IP details, can not be trusted with any private contact information or anything that you consider private.

Disclosing private information on any forum is a risk to be taken at ones own disgression. VBulletin software grants staff access to your e-mail address and IP number. I can't exactly see her doing anything too sophisticated with an IP number. If it's still of concern, you can change your IP by unplugging your modem for a few minutes.

That might work for some people some of the time. Some of us have static IPs that never change, and some people's ISP reserve IPs for users for a certain amount of time.

And as for the matter at hand, I've always managed to get through it by acting like she doesn't exist. Drama is a two way street. (I realise that I've probably provoked a reaction by saying that, but fuck it, I don't care.)

That's shite, man! How long do you have before the increase takes effect?

Is there no legal way to contest that? Is that even legal?

I've got 2 months before the increase starts (end of the fixed term) I'm guessing it's legal as there are properties round here renting at the new higher rate so it would be difficult to argue that it is above market rate which is illegal.

I suspect the letting agent is trying to fuck me over to get more cash so I've told them to stick signing a new tenancy up their arse as they get a nice juicy fee from myself and the landlord for getting me to sign a new one. At the end of the fixed term my tenancy will move to a rolling contract, if the landlord has a problem with this I've informed the agent he can contact me directly and we can come to some kind of arrangement.

Me and my gf have decided to just buy somewhere with a lower deposit than we would have liked to not have to deal with agents anymore. Having a larger deposit doesn't really matter anymore anyway as after the BoE base rate cut lending is ridiculously cheap anyway.

As tempting as that may be for some to use the place to get their giggles and/or self-righteous furies on, the fact of the matter is that it - and its members - are nothing to do with BL and by choosing to go there you kinda only have yourselves to blame if you let it get under your skin too much.

Obviously it is somewhat infuriating to know full well that there is an entire forum dedicated to bitching about and outright slandering a number of our regulars - and indeed EADD itself and BL in general - but choosing to read it is just that: a choice. We have rules to define where the line is on what can and cannot be said about other members here, but we have none about what can be said about anybody who is not a member here and that includes everybody from The Queen to Evey to Donald Trump and back again. As a site that is Not-Bluelight it's not really our business anymore than it would be said Queen, Evey or Trump to be obsessing with what is - or is not - said about them here on BL.

A tiny handful of the most notoriously unstable, angry and bitter ex-members (and a couple of ongoing members) have made themselves a place to bitch, pontificate and obsess about their time here. Short of actual breaches of the law, I'm not really seeing how it matters enough to be worth anybody getting upset about. I've had a readthrough of the few threads they have a couple of times and it's just infuriating... but what would be the point of trying to correct all the countless lies, distortions and outright fantasies? None that I can see so I just leave 'em too it. What people do away from BL is none of my bizniz but I might suggest the leaving 'em to it approach ain't such a bad one. It's certainly a helluva lot less maddening than trawling through the endless baiting and bullshit over at the pink place.
