Etizolam ran out fuck guys :(

Back to the Etizolam
We all know that research chemicals can be sold as such due to the 'not for human consumption' clause. I dont need to name vendors or brands to press the point that alot of us were at least partly attracted to certain sources of Etizolam as they were selling pharm grade blister strips of 1mg tablets, sourced from Asia where it is available from most pharmacies. However, as its not listed as a medicine in the UK the vendors could of course sell it for research purposes as it has no domestic use in any treatment. Why cant they sell MST's, or Temazepam in the same fashion? They cant because of course they are both controlled drugs, but also because they are listed as prescription only medicines under the 1968 Medicines act - there would be no justification for supplying them for research purposes as they have been well studied and are used widely and safely in general medicine every day.
Make sense so far? Ok so maybe not, but bear with me.
Ive spent alot of time in Crete over the past 20 years and when i started pissing around with benzodiazepines in the late 90's the local pharmacies would sell them OTC no questions. Im sure the situation was the same in alot of european countries. But the millennium came and went, bringing with it standerdised EU regulations and it wont suprise anyone that access to prescription only medicines in all EU countries became as restrictive as they are in the UK and Eire. By 2006 my 'local' chemist in Chania would let me have the odd bottle of Rivotril under the counter but over the last few years access to medicines such as this have been restricted across all EU countries. Put it this way, if a compound is seen as a medicine in Spain then technically its a medicine in all EU countries.
Finally, the droning old cunt gets to his point (you can yawn now).
Turns out that good old Etizolam is listed as a medicine in Italy. While alot of countries have taken individual action and banned Etizolam, it remains legal in the UK. However, most vendors have become wary due to these standardisation issues across the EU, as it may turn out that because Italy considers Etizolam a medicine, we all may have to treat it as such, and if this is the case it could be pulled from the market without even having to classify it as a controlled drug, as the Medicines Act can prevent it from being sold to the general public for research purposes.
As for fans of the other RC benzos and thenios, Deschloroetizolam, Chlorodiazepam, Pyrazolam and Flubromazepam, no need to panic yet as it appears that none of these chemicals have ever been used or listed as medicines in the EU or elsewhere, so their availability should be safe for the time being, taking into account the logic i have tried to describe above.
Still wouldnt stop the government using the MODA to ban them outright though.

Stee - you are totally right in what you are saying. While I don't know that much about the benzo situation other than what Stee has already posted, on thing I do know a lot about of anabolic steroids and related bodybuilding drugs as I've been bodybuilding for nearly 20 years and have taken them on and off since 1995.
In the 1990s steroids were prescription meds in the UK but OTC in France, Spain, Holland, Greece and just about everywhere on the continent. As a result, genuine pharmaceutical steroids were cheap and plentyful. You only rarely saw UK brands (they must have been diverted or something) due to the law but stuff from all over the globe was common.
In 1996 the changed the law so that roids were illegal to sell but legal to possess and import a quantity for personal use. This made no difference at all in the supply though.
It wasn't until about 10 years ago that the laws in Europe changed and the free flow of European gear dried up completely. There was still middle eastern stuff but after 9/11 that became more rare as well. The gap in the market has been almost exclusively filled with what are known as "underground lab" operations. Basically they import a few kgs of raw testosterone powder (or nandrolone/trnbolone or whatever) from China (who will produce and sell just about anything) and make their own vials by dissolving the stuff in oil and PG and knocking it out. The quality and sterility was pretty sketchy at first (bear in mind steroids are injected IM so bacteria is a BIG problem) but nowadays people know which labs to trust and some labs are like small pharmaceutical companies as oppose to some guy in his kitchen.
I know you may think what does this have to do with anything but it's just anopther side of how people get round legal changes and if there is a market, they will supply it.
Incidentally the etiz blisters were made buy Infar (India) weren't they? (sorry if this is "sourcing" but I don't see how it is).
It's just that Infar make steroids as well and it was generally thought that while they are a pharmaceutical company of sorts they are lacking in several important licenses and their products are not to be trusted. I suppose people who bought the etiz had no complaints but their steroids were very hit and miss.

You're thinking of "Intas" with regards to the etizolam. I believe they're a legitimate pharmaceutical company.

They are a legitimate company but I'm sure I read something about them being a bit shady,...after all what's a legit company in India might not be see as such elsewhere....

Ok so this post will get deleted by the mods, but seeing as were naming the pharmaceutical etizolam, the two brands that seemed most popular were the Intas 'Etilaam' and the Consern 'Etizest' - both 1mg tablets. Still doesnt matter whether your Etizolam is blister stripped or if its vendor pressed pellets or powder, they all could be seen as medicines by EU standards.

IMO its the only one that stands shoulder to shoulder with my favourite pharm grade benzos, but yes, the half life is very long - but as ive stressed in earlier posts i prefer long acting benzos, less need to redose, less chance of severe rebound problems, easier to taper if one gets into rough water and from a personal point, i love waking up still all rubbery and flubbery from the effect of a bedtime benzo. They do take ages to work however (ive found that they can take anything from one hour to four before they even begin to take effect) and i dont agree with the equivalence tables - id say 8mg flubro = 10mg diazepam as a pose to the stated 4 -6mg. They can also be very sedating if thats an issue.
Pyrazolam is another good choice, but purely for anxiety control rather than recreation. I find the effect almost identical to Clobazam(Frisium), an atypical benzodiazepine type drug used in second line epilepsy treatment.

Yeah i prefer long acting benzos as well. and yeah pryazolam is good, minimal mongy-ness, sleepy ness, memory loss, best functional benzo i've tried. im usually very sensible with benzos but those things are very easy to get into the habbit of popping too often

Flubromazepam is also something I have been considering as I have access to it and the etizolam seems to be maybe getting a bit out of hand. I heard it is similar to etizolam just lasts a lot longer. I would like to get off all benzo a as I currently take Xanax and etizolam daily and frequently due to the short half-life. Thinking Flubromazepam may be a nice replacement and only taking my Xanax at night cutting the etizolam out completely.

Flubromazepam is very heavy, if your not in a position to see a doctor then Chlorodiazepam (diclaazepam) may be a better bet. It also has a seriously long half life and can be more functional than flubro. It has a strangely potent but subtle effect, users (including myself) can end up being more fucked than they actually feel. I only suggest these as they are imo less recreational than flubromazepam, so your less likely to just eat them out of boredom, and while i dont know anything about the american rc market, they are alot cheaper in the uk. Flubromazepam was and has remained the most expensive RC benzo on the uk market since it appeared just over a year ago and has managed to retain its price.
Its high time we saw some new ones - theres tons of benzodiazepines that Roche looked at back in the 70's that were never developed or marketed as medicines. Meclonazepam, anyone? Ive noticed a couple of vendors selling this, and FLUBROMAZOLAM? I havnt tried either of these (has anyone here had them yet?), as ive found my trustworthy vendor, they dont stock these yet and I wont source from anywhere else.

Iv said it before on other threads but the new clonazolam is my fave of the new rc benzos. Its very anxiolytic and warm and is medium acting so gives me less rebound than etiz and other shorter half life benzos. I have some Flubromazolam on the way but will only be using them very very occasionally as I hear they can permanently fuck your tolerance. Looking forward to seeing how hypnotic they really are. I hear 0.5mg knocks most people out and i recently read on another forum there is a ridiculously irresponsible vendor selling 4 - 8mg pellets of this and its the "LAM" not the "PAM"!?

Your right, of course but Etizolam isnt strictly a benzodiazepine anyway. It does have a cross tolerance with typical benzos however, which is why the other RC's discussed in this thread would be able to provide a stopgap for those who have dependance issues. Of course, its not very good hr to recommend diclazepam etc as a DIY maintenance method in the long run.
Any folk who have developed a dependence on Etizolam should see a health professional to be fair. Its a legal freely available substance, so those who are having issues with it have a totally legitimate claim to medical support if needed

Flubromazolam and Flubromazepam are 2 different drugs. Although ive never tried flubromazolam, it does appear to be alot more potent by weight than flubromazepam and seems to be active at sub milligram doses. Flubromazepam pellets however tends to sold on the whole at either 4 or 8mg, with 6-8mg equvilent to 10mgs of diazepam in my own subjective experience (equivalence tables put it at 4 -6mg, which im not totally convinced of - my tolerance isnt sky high at the moment, but I usually need 16mg to get me going)
