What's Good on European and African TV v. Walking the Dead

Havent seen The Walking Dead yet, it seems to have a few fans here so I will give it a go

Been rewatching Curb Your Enthusiasm recently. Fucking great show
Larry David ftw

I can´t follow this program as they repeat the episodes all the time.

TWD seems to have fallen out of favour with a lot of people on here as its gone from one series to the next. Not me though, i still love it, and cant wait for the next season. All seasons have been highly critically acclaimed. Arguably series 4 has been the least eventfull and padded out a bit, with some slow episodes here and there, but things are all set for season 5 to get off to a flying start. I think its best to watch it in marathon sittings rather than wait each week for the next epiosde, as all its momentum and tension is lost a bit, as most episodes tend to end on some sort of cliffhanger, so that you immediately want your next TWD fix, and its not the same returning to it 7 days later, all the built up tension has dissipated during the wait. :!

Who is watching the new series of Dr Who?

I thought it wasn't too bad. It's strange to see Peter Capaldi not swearing but I did rather think he makes for an interesting Doctor. Unsurprisingly as the episode was written by Mr. Moffat, it was pretty good I thought. Worked well to introduce Peter Capaldi & tick all the familiar boxes.

Will be interesting to see how the series progresses.

Is anyone watching 'Extant' - pretty interesting so far.

I'm not but I was considering watching it. Reviews seemed a bit mixed but certainly not bad. I'll probably get around to watching it at some point or another.

Not really bothered with Dr Who since Christopher Ecclestone's series, and the couple after with the red haired lass and Matt Smith who i grew to like a lot. His final episode was meant to be the Dr Who of all Dr Whos as he was the 13th Dr to die or something, after which point they could not keep dying and then magically regenerating to emerge as the new Dr Who for the next series. But somehow they hammed their way out of that dilemma, and when i saw that it was gonna me that Malcolm Tucker guy as the next Dr, i wasnt sure what to think, he may be pretty good, just not sure if i can be bothered investing anymore time on Dr Who. If I happened to have kids of tv watching age, id definately encorage them to watch it though.

The first few were great - after that it just got too weird / random and made zero sense.

Other Dexter fans must surely also be pretty impressed by Debra Fucking Morgans abilty to swear so fluently and inventively. I've been disapointed in my brief online search to find some of Debra Fucking Morgans best fucking quotes. There have been so many, i wish id made a note of some of the best ones at the time as they arent all nicely listed online.

The best i could find were:

"Shit a brick and fuck me with it, you're never going to believe who this truck is registered to."

"Sweet Mary mother of fuck that's good."

"I am a model of fucking perfection."

"A mother fuckin' roly poly chubby cheeked shit machine, are you kidding me?"

" Motherfuck. Holy Jesus on a stick."

"... tell me? Yes. Whenever you have an earth-shattering, ball-crushing mind-fuck of a secret you should tell your fucking sister."

"Fuck me sideways." AND "Fuck me in both ears". Its annoying me that there are better ones out there, just not listed.

im sorry to learn that that is just a hoax: Breaking Bad Hoax: Vince Gilligan's 'Announcement of Season 6' is Fake.

An article circulating online, claiming that Emmy award-winning show Breaking Bad is set to return with a season six, has turned out to be a hoax.

The bogus report was published on NationalReport.net, a satirical website well known for publishing fake stories with sensational headlines.

spoilers as to ending of season 5:

NSFW:
The fake story read: "Breaking Bad fans around the world are celebrating the stunning, glorious and amazing news announced today: Walter White is not dead, and there will indeed be a sixth season of the wildly-popular, award-winning AMC drama.

"This shocking and exciting news comes not from an internet message board or the rumour mill but from series creator Vince Gilligan. In an exclusive CNN interview late Sunday evening, Gilligan dropped the bombshell."

The report carried fake quotes from Gilligan saying that Walter White did not actually die at the end of the last series.

Many Twitter users believed the fake news report, and expressed their excitement.

indeed,

if they could reserect JR for another series of Dallas they could have done the same for Walter White. Probably best that they remain quit whilst they are ahead though, as its already widely regarded as the best TV series ever made, they could risk spoiling all that with a dodgy 'walter white didnt die after all' season 6

Doesnt surprise me, saw people on facebook sharing it but instantly thought "bollocks", if they've been in the process of making better call saul all year then another season of breaking bad might seem to fans as a step back, or a cheeky money grab maybe, or something

from what i gather you thought Dexter went downhill after season 4 or 5 ? Im still enjoying it very much, along with Deborah's swearing well into season 7. I really like the Koshka Brotherhood storyline that is currently one of the main focuses part way through season 7.

Apparently there is going to a new series made focussing on Deborah Morgan. And this doesnt sound like a hoax.

Loved it until season 6 onwards, seemed to go downhill from then on, which is around the time they had new writers as well if i recall. could of gone nicely from 5-7, 6 felt kinda pointless and like a filler or something. infact i can barley remember 6, usually if its decent i remember alot of it. all i can recall is thinking it coulda been a lot better, along with the seasons after. the seasons before 6 are brilliant, that show could of ended being a masterpiece but the last season is a right mess of a fuckup
