The parents of Keith Vidal, 18, called 911 to keep their mentally ill son from hurting himself or anyone else with a screwdriver during a schizophrenic episode at their home. But they say police ended up 'murdering' their child right before their eyes.
Mark Wilsey, Vidal's stepfather, said that the 90-pound teenager was already being restrained by two officers when another officer walked into the home and said, "I don't have time for this. Taser him." One of the other officers used a stun gun on Vidal, who fell to the ground, at which point Wilsey says the third officer shot and killed the young man.
He reached right up, shot this kid point-blank, with all intent to kill... He just murdered him flat out.
At least three law enforcement agencies responded to the 911 call, and one officer has been placed on administrative leave, although it is unclear if he is the officer who shot Vidal.
Prosecutors in North Carolina, where the incident occurred, have pledged to get to the bottom of the shooting "wherever the truth leads."
Vidal's family expressed grief and outrage over the killing at a press conference held by one of the responding agencies. Vidal's mother, Mary Wilsey, said she will not rest until her son's killer is brought to justice.
We want justice for my son's death. This officer who shot my son needs to be behind bars -- he needs to die, the way my son died... this is not how mental health patients should be treated.

The details of one man's allegations against Chicago police officers, who he says beat and raped him with a loaded service revolver until he agreed to assist them with a drug investigation as an informant, are chilling.
Angel Perez, 32, spoke with reporters against the advice of his lawyers and said that in October of last year, he was pulled over while working as a delivery driver and interrogated for two hours about drug dealing and robberies before being released.
The very next day, he was taken into custody and driven to a police station, where he says he was "handcuffed to a wall and shackled by his ankles" before being badly beaten and "sodomized" with a pistol.
The particulars of a federal suit filed by Perez against the officers allege that the officers threatened to send him to jail so he could be "raped by gang members" and were "laugh[ing] hysterically" as the tortured him.
Then they said they were going to give him "a little taste" of jail life.
[The officers], knowing their actions created a strong likelihood of great bodily harm and mental anguish, inserted a cold metal object, believed to be one of officer's service revolvers, into the plaintiff's rectum, causing the plaintiff severe pain and humiliation
Like many US cities, Chicago has a dark history of police brutality and Perez hopes that by speaking openly about what happened to him future injustices can be prevented.

well i could have said i like s club 7. I dont think sucker is the word. More like philstine. I guess my judgement is a bit off atm, i hope to regain that asap. In the meantime in going to try my hardest to keep everything very low key and non inflammatory, but if there's something that i dont get i might let it go or i might pick it up, depends, i allways like to undertsnad where things can go wrong in relationships, so as to prevent that happening again, its far less embarrasing and easier to do this online in the so far anonmymity of strangers, though i feel i know some of you a bit.
