Aye, good luck, especially if you have to go to Scarborough, I think I recall you saying? I dunno it took me like an hour to catch up this morning, not fond of the city centre and whatnot but the outskirts and North Bay and that are alright. I used to live in a town between there and York and got the direct York-Scarborough train home accidentally more times than I care to remember.

edit: just been out and seen some bloke spray painting a mural on one of them green boxes for electric or whatever the fuck. Was reminiscent of this green bug eyed dude from the 80s/90s (not the hulk but i'm fucked if i remember the name. troma maybe had a hand in it?). looked p cool anyway and turns out it was council sponsored, which surprised me.

council sponsored graffiti ? There are some really talented artists out there who did and do this stuff, its weird how sometimes its declared graffiti and sometimes declared art.

I dunno what the laws are, say if you live in an end terrace and want some huge artwork done on it, like in northern ireland esp the divided factions and territrorial things, but it doesnt have to be political, it can just be art, ive seen quite a lot of houses with their end terrace with a huge artwork painted on it. Id like to see more of it, it gives places more character.

North Street in Bristol does a great annual festival where all the shop shutters and terrace ends get new artwork, makes it a brilliantly vibrant part of the city, and is respected even by the shitty taggers, who don't deface the quality work all over the place.

Pretty much. Genuine sense of apathy in the country at the moment, and it's not like I try to change that myself, either. I come from the kind of place that got angry when fox hunting got banned though, so it's not like I was ever going to see anyone campaign for anything worthwhile. Is nice being in a city, in that respect.
