I've never had the squits from it (well, perhaps the next day) but do believe it is a potential risk. Only if you take waaaaaaay too much though. Try it at home first and you'll be fine. I took three tabs up front and it completely killed the gurn from a gramme of belting strong emdee taken over the course of a night first time I was convinced to try it (by much-missed EADDer Carsick) and was fine. Dunno which form of magnesium that was though.

FWIW (whilst I'm indulging in intrawebz acronyms) BHM is a fine fella (imo, ime, ymmv, etc, etc). In private anyway. Dunno why that doesn't come through as well in public and is not really my place to speculate. He really is a thoroughly decent chap though. Imo, ime, ymmv, etc, etc.

Leaving the specific case aside, I have noticed a marked difference in several posters betwixt public and private personas. I wonder why this is? My suspicion is some kinda underlying insecurity. Again, not talking about BHM here cos I really don't know him well enough to be so presumptuous (and he can certainly speak for himself upon his return). But really does seem to be the case with many a BLer. And presumably many an intrawebzer in general. BL is a relatively anonymous forum (well, not really but then nothing is since we as a people sleepwalked into swapping actual privacy for faux "security") and lends itself to honesty. Is a real shame if people feel the need to put image before truth. Cos truth is so much more engaging than fiction.

Am well aware BHM is gonna think this is talking about him given the timing but it genuinely isn't. Is so common it borders on being universal actually. At least it does in terms of folks I've interacted with both publicly and privately. I just don't get it. You (generic "you") are good enough whomsoever you are. Posturing falls flat and fails miserably for the most part.
 
When I first joined he was lovely towards me, then something changed. God knows what. I would love to know.

I'm sure he's an alright bloke, just acts a tit quite often. As do we all from time to time, he's just more nasty imo etc etc

I still prefer him to certain other posters though.. ;)

And please don't think I'm singling BHM out for praise (or pillorying). Just made me think of summat I've been pondering for a long time is all. Whether or not BHM - or anybody else - fits is not really the point. Is a general comment that applies to many people. Possibly even myself too... although I almost wonder if I'm the other way round sometimes :\
 
You're probably on to something there. I'd like to think I'm the same in pm or here. No need to pretend, this is only the internet after all.
 
I always browse and post from my phone, hence the somewhat lazy formatting and short responses. If someone sends me a lengthy PM I'll reply from my PC, therefore there may be some subtle differences.
 
I'm a phone poster too. I think that's why my posts are vacuous and vapid as one particularly twattish poster described them as. I just cannot be arsed sometimes!

I know that in both public and private I am definitely "me". I am aware of the fact that I do play to a certain perceived version of me publicly at times though. Not inna big way cos that perceived version of me was very much me too - in terms of openness and honesty and stuffs. He was also a bit more bulletproof than was ever truly the case though. Has been quite nice being just plain ol' EADD Shambles instead of other Shambles that was here there and everywhere in force.

I believe that everyone has multiple facets. It's just when people are plain different it's a bit well-gay. I'm talking everyday life now too

So after the company I was supposed to be starting work for went into adminsitration, I have been refused JSA because my partner works full time. I have got an interview for a new job for alot more money on Wednesday though... Maybe everything will work out
