I iv'd my last sliver this morning. It was prolly 1mg. I'm dead broke and even tho I have a friend who will throw me slivers every few days, I've decided I dont wanna constantly feel like shit anymore as I've switched back and forth between heroin and suboxone so many times that the tiny amount that I can afford on a daily basis doesnt even make me well anymore. So I'm gonna try to get my hands on some neurontin to help the restlessness tomorrow hopefully.
12 hours after my last dose and as of right now all I have is a slight icky feeling and my legs are restless but nothing too crazy just yet. I'm hoping that because I've been IVing suboxone for the last few months, and IV significantly affects the half-life, that maybe I'll be out of the worst of this in a week or so, I think I can handle that.
My only question would be, after day 3 or so of not having ANY suboxone, if you guys think it would be ok for me to take a naltrexone to possibly get the rest off my receptors in one fell swoop and maybe even shorten the wd's to even less than they would be from regular IV suboxone use. I doubt anyone knows but its worth a shot.
Lastly; I wanna thank everyone here for sharing their stories of sucessful suboxone tapers for giving me the courage to make this leap. I'll post any progress or setbacks in here if I can. Wish me luck!
