50mg of diphen should be okay. As should a zopiclone. I have neither so went with a temazepam which may well have worked some of its benzo magic on hangover reduction. I find z-drugs tend to knock me right out if I need to sleep but probably cos I very rarely use 'em. Don't like that horrid metallic taste you get the next day though. Ick :|

Brimz: I might just have to try that. I usually take a combined paracetamol/aspirin/caffeine pill or two in the morning which seems to help quite a bit. If it's the aspirin that's doing the helping I might just get some straight aspirins in so I can take at bedtime. Thanks for the tip :)
 
Thanks Kenny. I've tried the valerian, passion flower and hops pills. Athough they do help, they leave me with an uncomfortable heavy feeling in my chest. It kind of feels as though each breath is a slight struggle.

Edit - this is when taken without booze.

Edit 2 - Thanks Shambles. I find that half a zopiclone works just fine when I'm sober and that way I can effectively double the mileage of my prescription! I like the metallic taste, shows that it's working.

It's where my parents live, and no it's not at all like your "perfect town", but there are a few OAPs who get together to try to keep the place tidy. I don't think the council does it or if they do, they do a poor job. The fact the place is built on an exposed hillside might mean it gets more than it's fair share of crisp packets riding the air currents.

The funniest cabbie I ever met was this Jamaican fella, picked us up in front of Brixton Academy early on a sunday morning, me and my mates had been boshing pills all night, the cabbie was well of his face as well, looked like he'd been hitting the crack pipe hard. Anyway he was on about big asses, he was like yeah with the money you give me I'm gonna get me some big asses, and he used to make a hand gesture when saying big asses. He repeated that like a hundred times. One of my friends was from NY and the cabbie kept on saying like, I'm coming to New York and gonna get some big asses.

Such a legend and only charged us like 15 brixton to bethnal green.

At first we just cracked up laughing at the car but needs must n that .

The journey home all 15/20 miles was funny as fuk . One of my mates was preaching the Virtues of E to this old geezer , The rest of us were taking the piss out of his car . It was a great laugh & to be fair the old lad played along with us .
End of the day better than pissed cunts i would imagine . One matey even wanted to Hug him when he dropped us off .

Haha! sounds VERY familiar!

Got a taxi bk from a rave in Brixton Jamm a year or so back and the cabbie was obviously off his face on something, allowed us to smoke weed in his car n was saying how he was gunna load up on beers n weed for next time so he can offer the full service haha,

Also stuck on some sick jungle for us at full blast at like 5am n only charged us £15 from Brixton to Shepherd's Bush
 
theres a few pakistani drivers around here that do stims, drive around wired as fuck for a stupid amount of hours, get sucked off by drunk girls for payment if theyre skint and need to get home

and as for that ranting taxi driver, try working with people like that

was gonna watch the hobbit film but aint feeling too sharp at the moment. proper good night ended up at this djs house with this graffiti workshop leader woman whos done loads of amazing graffiti around here. but theyre piss poor coke whatever it was didnt mix too well with 5-mapb, felt all cold and jittery
