It's almost the weekend already. Am I the only one who hates weekends these days?

Maybe it's because I can't manage to find a new job so I spend the whole week doing fuck all, while all my employed friends get to friday in ColtDan mood and want to go out spending money I don't have, it's getting quite annoying. I have to find something to do that doesn involve seeing friends, I was going to volunteer down at the local cat shelter but local government cut funds and closed it, so yeah that's another option gone. Wouldn't have minded spending the weekend on my own in a room with 100 cats.
 
The lack of a Friday Feeling is definitely a down-side to being a person of leisure :) But you've got me worried about these cats now, where did they put them?

Roofer has turned up to sort my leaky roof so now I have to stay straight until late afternoon, probably a good thing ultimately but means a few hours more of sleep-deprived void :\
 
The woman at the bakery told me they closed the place down, she's a crazy cat lady too, I didn't know about it, I'm not exactly up to date with local happenings, apparently there was people who did a sit-in in front of the local government. They just rehoused some of the kittens and injected the older ones.
 
I wrote a whole post defending them, then remembered that actually they've just been making shit dance pop music for a long time, and that their best work came out fifteen years ago. So actually, bearing that and their recent output in mind, the new track's pretty good.
 
Guice has arrived but can't do anything till the roof's fixed :\

Are you fixing the roof? Actually, no, just don't do it. Sedatives of any sort are a bad fucking idea in the daytime. IMHO and all that.

Ugh. Hungover. And me codeine didn't arrive. Pot Noodle will have to suffice. Surprisingly restorative is a Pot Noodle when hungover. Not as restorative as guice though. Meant to order some yesterday but found hurdles. Eminently surmountable hurdles I'm sure. But not surmountable in time to ease my banging head so Pot Noodle and painkillers it is.

Anyone followings the goings on in murica? Found it funny the daily mail had a large article with pictures of the crowd and "potential suspects", people were highlighted "1. Large Backpack (looks like a bomb), 2. Not looking at runners 3. BROWN", there were a few, anyway all the suspects came out today to show they are not these potential "terrorists"


Somethings a miss though, the 2 potential terrorists that they are now chasing, after they robbed a convenience store and shot a university guard. The bombs I guess were to cause as much carnage as possible to civillians, but after robbing the convenience store , not killing anyone, they then car-jack someone and get into a police chase, slowing down to let out the passenger in the car????

Dose not add up really, news saying they are of Russia, Chechyna though. All seems strange with the bombs they were trying to cause carnage, then the next minute they are helping citizens out of there car-jacked car.... Funny it gets more global coverage than the 12 deaths though at the fertilizer plant explosion.................

Anyway enough news for me today I think. Posties been so im off to get myself a liquid lunch.

Must be my lucky week.
Was due to have an appt on Wednesday with my keyworker at the local DSP but the office rang me in the morning mo say she was ill so appt was cancelled. Bargain.
Then today I was due to have an appt with a woman at 3pm who does my computer courses but she rang at 2.20pm to cancel as she had to be elsewhere at 4pm. Bargain.
All in all both cancellations saved me around £10 in bus fares.
So got more cash for the weekend than expected.
