I've removed the link to a mix I did the other night, i redid it last night, still a couple of mistakes, and still need a lighter touch on the EQ controls, but sounds better....

Might even have a 3rd go at it tonight, I like all the tracks, but listening back I can see bits that shouldn't be there, or timings that are out.

I normally only do it once, then leave it and do another one, but I suppose revising a mix is good practice.

Indeed I did. :D A lot (the majority actually) of stuff is new to me though. Which was great. Like I said to Dan the other day, I'll be honest, better than 'wow amazing you owned it' when I don't really mean it.

In all honesty though I did really enjoy it. I didn't scrutinize it or anything. I had it on in the background while doing my thing but to me I couldn't hear any major glaring errors as such. I did note at about 15 minutes it slips out a little (not really worth worrying about) and again at about 45 minutes. The kicks were really out of phase and this one did stand out. I guess you already realise that though.

Yeah I enjoyed it on the whole, great track selection. Constant flow and decent mixing as far as I could tell. I wasn't analyzing your technique or anything though, like I said playing it in the background. The tune at around 59 minutes is an absolute peach. Bass line magic mate. 1 hour 3 mins is another corker. Nice mix there. Close to unnoticeable. Love the last two tracks. Nice stuff clever transition btw.

Another quick thing, my girl came in from school while it was on she asked me 'what is this Daddy?' I said it's Postman Phat. She loved that and kept laughing and saying 'postman fat' over and over like kids do, you know. As usual she had a little boogie, leg shuffle thing to it like she does she then realised she had a pack of Malteasers in the fridge and disappeared. I would have joined her having a little dance but my back has been playing up today. Been head nodding away to it like a good 'un though I can assure you. Great stuff. Thanks. <3

I liked your mix. I'll listen to the new version when I've been out and come back and probably been to sleep and got up again.
