Yeah lol. I always used to hear it when I was a wean but heard a customer say it to her grandson today. It just seemed charming to call someone an article. Another variation is ''Cheeky wee article''.

I think it's great when I hear people telling their own children that they're ill-bred. My mammy's favourite was always, ''The more ye get, the worse ye bastardin' are!''

one of my favourite sayings happens to be BEDTIME I love when it hits 9pm and the kids have to vacate and you get the couch and a tv channel you can understand, or it's BEDTIME and they have to put away musical instruments and you get to sit down and listen to something you want to hear. not that I don't like hearing them practice but when you have at least 3 who practice a different instrument on the same night sometimes you are so happy when the clock strikes 9pm
