Your favourite obscure film (that nobody else has even seen)

'Juliet of the Spirits' - Fillini's first color film (Italy 1965)

to anyone who likes trippy movies, this would be at the top of my list.

already mentioned in this thread, but both Pi and Fubar are GREAT...

um..."the corporation" was great documentary, i dunno if many people have seen it

Bakshi's Fire & Ice....

Its probably one of the best fantasy films ive ever seen.....Its an animated film from the early 80's....

If u have ever seen the animated version of the Lord of the Rings (animated version of LOTR is much better then the recent film, IMO).....Its the same guy who made that....

Awesome movie.....If ur interested....Check out the links below...

Whoa, most of the movies I would mention are already in here, but nearly no one knows about "Plastic Utopia."

A musical retelling of the story of Cinderella, starring Richard Chaimberlain - "The Slipper and the Rose". Fucking funny! The songs are classic sounding with bitter lyrics, and choreographed dances, and those ball gowns!

I love that movie. You need to find Rock and Rule if you liked that.

Lust in the Dust - I laughed so hard I fell down.

City of Lost Children - See it.

The Women - Old film 1939(B&W). Great movie.

BMX Bandits.. you gotta see it.

Saw this a couple times when I was little.

How about the sound effects they used for when the guys would be flying through the air on their bikes, the wheels would make this cheesy whizzing noise. Silly...

"Its a mad mad mad mad world" really made me laugh, its pretty cheesy/stupid but good fun.

I also watched "Broken arrow" the other day,not that stolen nuclear bomb shite but this is from 1950,its about Apaches at war with the American army.Real classic original acting, wanna find it on dvd but no luck.

^ "It's a mad mad etc etc" was on TV the other day. It was the first time I had seen it and I thought it was hilarious. :)

One movie that I always quote from but most people haven't seen is Party Girl.

Well i just gotta mention my favorite black comedy Heathers starring Christian Slater, Winona Ryder and Shannon Doherty. Apologies if the whole world has seen it (lol) The script (which i memorise btw) is a treasury of quotable, totally hilarious dialogue and innuendo.

i.e.

"If there's any way you can hear me, Kurt buddy... I don't care that
you really were some pansy... You're my own flesh and blood, and you made me proud. My son's a homosexual, and I love him! I love my dead gay son! "

" How do you think he'd react to a son that had a limp wrist with a pulse?"

"Dear Diary. I want to kill, and you have to believe it's for more than
just selfish reasons, more than just a spoke in my menstrual cycle. You have to believe me."Betty Finn was a true friend, and I sold her out for a bunch of Swatch-dogs and Diet Coke-heads. Killing Heather would be like offing the Wicked Witch of the West.. wait.. East.. West.. God, I sound like a fucking psycho!"

"Ram and I died the day we realized we could never reveal our forbidden
love to an uncaring and ununderstanding world. The joy we shared in
each others arms was greater than any touch down, yet we were forced to
live the lives of sexist, beer guzzling jock assholes."

LMAO sorry got carried away with the quotes there =D

Also, i forgot to mention Pump up the volume starring christian slater and samantha mathis. Awesome movie and kickass sountrack :D
