Any one who has lived life, or just anyone who is wise.
Can you please state from your whole life experiences things that you wish you knew when you were 18 before your adult life really began?
I mean any opportunities we should look out for?
any advice?
Tips, guidance or regrets?
If you could go back to your 18 year old self and tell them a few things what would you say?
I never had any real guidance in my life so this is would be a gift to me, I would really appreciate your life's knowledge.
Thanks very much

Some guidance I would like to offer is to stop looking at life as both full of opportunities and equally full of regrets. Because to me, the truth of the matter is that life is full of nothing but opportunties because you only live life once in your current form and the choices you make influence who you are as an indvidiual today. You can either like who you are or hate who you are in this life and where you have been placed into its puzzle. In the end though that even comes down to loving or hating the essence that is your soul.
Live life with no regrets!!! Of course in a responsible manner with the intentions of experiencing the longest, healthiest life possible.Have you ever stopped and considered how much time you spend thinking about your regrets? It quickly adds up! Think of all the time that you could be spending living your life and answering opportunities that could better your happiness!
Live knowing that each choice you make not only influences you but also others around you and people that you dont even know. To go back and change any choice in an individuals life would cause ripple effects in countless peoples lives(The Butterfly Effect). Would you really want the state of your soul to be filled with such greed? Consider the consequences from a different perspective, what if somebody changed something and it effected you? Would you be like, "Ok, this is cool, Im trapped in an asylum now crazy as hell, diseased, with no arms or legs but Im just glad that one person could go back and change something for the betterment of their happiness and the benefit of my misery"?I know I sure the hell wouldnt!
There is nothing wrong with looking out for yourself. Self-preservation is what makes nature what it is, but it goes deeper than that. There is nothing wrong with preserving in all manners the physical, outside vessel that you carry in this life
to keep it in good shape to thrive for as long as possible. However, that is if you believe in the concept of a soul, there is a different less self centered way of preserving your soul. Preserving your soul is realizing that all of existence that have souls are connected and representing that in a manner of your choosing. Even if you dont believe in the soul it is still very hard to deny the dependancy that mankind has upon one another in the physical realm. Self preservation is realizing the times to take opportunities for yourself but also realizing the times to take the opportunities that you wont directly benefit from but mankind will at which point you benefit, but indirectly.
Man, all of this is coming from a 24 (will be 25 June 11 ^.^) year old who has had it pretty rough. I aint saying the things I have dealt with are any more extreme than the next person because lets face it, we all deal with different circumstances, we all react differently to our circumstances, so no one persons circumstances in life can actually be any better or worse than the next because they are all different. I might just be turning a quarter century old this year, but the age we verbally speak to the world is nothing more than symbols that spoken language has applied meaning to. Age cannot be spoken but can be witnessed glowing in a wisemans aura, speaking with all the complexities and knowledge of words but only pulsate with energy yet not make a sound. Also, keep this in mind as well, Knowledge doesnt equal wisdom. Knowledge+Experience= Wisdom
