I've come to terms that my emotional sanity and sleep schedule are so closely tied to booze that I'll never quit drinking - and I have no reason to. My liver function is normal and I have no problem abstaining during work hours. Also I am a peaceful drunk, I am a lot more aggressive when sober.

That said... I know I'm pissed when I turn into a cigarette beggar since I smoked all of mine and my vape is either empty or out of battery... And when I decide it's a better idea to drunk-stumble rather than hopping on public transport so I don't throw up. :LOL:

That won't last. Just sayin'...

I know all of my local places where employees go for a ciggie. When times are hard (about 3 days after payday), I'm ashamed to say I do a fag run rounding up all the juicy dimps to be rerolled for my delectation....

Well it's lasted 15 years so far so knock on wood... And yes, I go on fag runs too. Money not spent on smokes = money to buy booze or proper drugs.

Edit: Going grocery shopping so I just cracked open a cold one. Cheers!

I was fuckin cruising yesterday. Bottle of vodka, Mrs out with her sister, kids hidden away on their bedrooms with their boy/girl friends.

Cooked a Chile, made a rather tasty apple crumble, then I had a spliff at about 3pm. That's when it all turned to shit and I can't remember anything after that.

I love booze and weed, but the two together are just not conducive to getting shit done...

I melted a tupparware container in the oven and was told to get out of the kitchen,
didnt even have to do the dishes that night.

It was gold!

*Did pay for it, for the next week hungover and mental health spiked and not drinking again for a long time but still.

PS I had a 6-pack and then just did a load of dope at my mate's house. (Also not a recommended combination.) Conked out sometime around midnight and this morning wondered for a moment where the fuck I was because I 'd forgotten going to see him

Getting out of doing the dishes is deffo a bonus though, am I right?

Top tip to avoid hangovers: Don't stop drinking.

We were having a BBQ at home that arvo that how it started i was cleaning the back deck, though orrryeah ill have
a vodka cruiser theres some nice pineapple ones in the bar, wouldnt mind a beer got my house mate to
drive me to get a carton.......good night it was.

I am fairly certain i got up mid dinner and went to bed and passed out till 5pm the next day.
if i could have back it up i would have but im the nanna of the group late twenties and cannot
in no way go hard these days!

I caused no harm!!!

I used the oven twice after that with a rich BPA free plastic smell wafting from what was cooking,
third time was roast night ...... had every intention of quickly putting the lamb in the oven befor i had to go do some work so it was
ready when i got home that night.

That C*NT took forever to clean. The plastic was stuck in the runners.

Lamb was great though
