Yes you see glasses, but why?

last time i dropped I would not stop seeing ghost like figures, they had an incredibly annoying habit of not going away, eventually I had to resort to walking through them to "kill them". I then confused a lamp in the garden for two cats eyes, and then the bush behind the lamp turned into a giant cat. Finally I forgot to speak English, and instead started speaking in Finnish when asked questions or starting a convo without realising. What the hell was this stuff cut with, or is this possible on mdma?

i was JUST about to type anti clockwise and the BAM the bitch she was goin clockwise did my head right but now i cant make it go back to anti clockwise
 
I have only experienced this once in roughly 8 years of pilling...and I was on GBL and two pretty strong pills...yellow bacardis if I remember correctly.

I'd say a "high dose" is when you start getting mashed and somewhat confused and not totally coherent, which, for me, happens at around 150mg or more.
 
whenever i drop 10+ pils, i look into the mirror and i see my eyes turn green, anone else have this.. not always happen but sometimes.
 
Thats hot...I never had hallucinations of glasses and shadows. Did you get this with your eyes open or closed? Whenever I close my eyes I get weird visions of random shapes, hot strip shows, and fantasy lands...so I can't complain:) . When I roll hard my eye always jiggles and I can't focus, plus our eyes get dialated. I think that whatever our unconscious mind wishes to see it all comes out during our trips. Probably just like why we dream about things that happen during the day.
 
I used to see the glasses all the time. But I also used to think that I had glasses on as well, even though I didn't.

Definitely something to do with the shadowing of the eyes.

My gf used to have a cornice around her room that had fancy shapes on it, it also cast shadows, and after a night on mda/mdma it used to look like it was moving really fast to the right, and it was hypnotizing.
 
glasses...masks....smoke coming out the speakers in my living room<----i get that alot...shadows that make me think there is a cat in my house.

none of these things were really there.
 
I havn't read many posts but the first one

but i was told mdma metabolises into mda when you have an overload in your blood

and i dont just see glasses, i see heaps of crazy shit.
 
my last roll i finally know what you guys are talking about. these were the best pills i've had so far (7th roll). they were tested and no meth present, and tested positive for MDMA. i've re dosed on rolls before. about 1/2 when i feel i'm coming down. this time i saw glasses on my friends. it would last for a few seconds. and i kept seeing patterns of random things in the trees, grass, the visuals on the tv. my bf was on google earth (not rolling) and i saw all kinds of crazy things in the maps like , creatures, monsters, animals, objects, shapes.

it didn't scare me. i actually found it quite interesting. makes me want to try shrooms or acid.

wow i just ran across this thread n this is SO weird. the first time i rolled i was at a friends apartment and it was dimly lit n everyone there was rolling.. when i was starting to come down i kept telling 2 of my friends i saw em wearing glasses but i was the only one that saw this.. i just thought i was trippin hard but its SO weird to hear other people experience the same thing
 
I havnt halucinated on mdma that much and ive rolled around the 1000 times mark since 8 years of pilling. I thought my halucniations were due to my pupils getting huge and my visions going blurry. I saw ceramic vases in a rave once and it turned out to be poeple sitting on the stairs then there was was a guy who didnt have a head , he had a red square on his head:) Once there was a time i took 3,5 yellow mtv pills on my 2nd roll. Thats when i saw the dude with the square, i looked up at the ceiling and it was liek time frooze, i looked around and everything was frozen then i kept lookin around and i said to myself where am i then about 30 secs later i said to myself shit i remember im at a party:) Was soo f..cking crazy. I got on the bus on the way home wearing sunglasses in winter to cover my eyes. I couldnt speak and had a hard tiem telling the bus driver where i wanna go. When i was waiting for the bus i heard peopel calling my name but when i looked there no one was calling my name. Was scary shit that day. Ive never had a more f...cked up nite like that with mdma. I had another nite like that with shrooms but thats another story:)
 
i know exactly what you mean MazDan i see those glasses ALL the time and not just glasses but sometimes even people that aren't really there! LMAO =x
like sometimes i'm sitting there with my eyes closed really deep into my roll and i'm thinking about shit and people and when i think of someone i can see their face so vividly that when i open my eyes i still see them there and slowly little by little the image fades but it trips me out soooo much. or like sometimes i imagine i somewhere else and when i open my eyes i'm like oh shit what am i doing here....oh that's right i'm rolling. its like your mind imagines its somewhere else and then when you open your eyes it brings you back to reality with a shock and your like oh shit i thought i was somewhere else LMAO
 
and one time there was this guy that was shirtless and i saw a bunch of tattoos all over his body and i was like bro you look like your all tatted up and he's like what? are you kidding me? i don't have a single tattoo on my body! lmao

Im still sticking with the "Brain misinterpreting things because its so serotonin-afied." but I cant find any FACT answer.
 
Ion, Yes I tend to agree with the idea that I dont get them anywhere near as much now as I did in my early years.

I suspect your on the right track with the idea that the brain adapts.

Much the same as my ideas that there is not a tolerance built up so much as a been there done that type of conditioning.
