Xanax? Is it euphoric to you?

In my limited experience I would caution anyone ever to mix Benzos and booze. I learnt my lesson years ago when I went to the pub with a friend, popped two fat temazepam "jellies", two pints later and all I remember is waking up in a bush in the pub garden sevedral hours later, with a group of angry men pissing on me!!!
Back to the quesation at hand, I tried Xanax for the first time ten days ago, after reading all the glowing reports on these boards. and YES, no doubt about it, they're very nice indeed, very relaxed, chilled, calm, chatty giving an "all is well" outlook. Question is...is that Euphoria. To me Euphoria is what you get from a really good E, opiates, phenethylamines etc. A full, body and mind rush of unalloyed pleasure. One difference I think is that Euphoric drugs are usually Euphoric whatever the setting, whilst Xanax and other Benzos (as many others point out on these boards) are "setting" dependent

So, is Xanax Euphoric? No (IMHO), is it and excellent drug, whose effects are very pleasurable? YES!

A lot of the time when I take benzo's, I actually get MORE anxious lol. I think just because I start to feel like I'm slightly losing control of myself, which makes me nervous. When in reality I normally just sit there and watch tv and act normal. But mountain dew code red will never taste better then when on xanax haha.

like if I have done some uppers, and im coming down like real bad. Even a LIL xanax will work up some euphoric relief.

XANAX is the most weakest of all benzos out there...

It is one of the most potent benzo's besides triazolam (Halcion).

I'll usually only take Xanax when I smoke weed at night. This is only 2-3 times a month, and only when I have Xanax too (most of the time I do).

To me, the Xanax + Weed combination is inseparable. Xanax is great by itself, and ganja is great by itself... but together it's just bliss. People rave about taking MDMA + LSD... well to me Ganja + Xanax is the same way. They compliment each other perfectly.

Nothing beats the extreme relaxation that you get when taking these two drugs together. Perfect way to end a day. Euphoric? Most definitely, yes.

same w/ me... i've taken xanax on its own and all i got was a little tired / less anxious, 3mg + 3 beers = blackout (or very close) for me

ive done opiates before and i still find xanax euphoric. i prefer it to opiates because it doesn't have the unpleasant side affects opiates have.

Euphoric? Not at a therapeutic dose of 2-3 mg. A recreational dose of 10+ mg might be. I found Ativan (Lorazepam) more euphoric. And that's why I asked to be put on Xanax when I was trying to get off of benzos.
