Xanax? Is it euphoric to you?

I love Xanax because it is very fast hitting, even faster than sublingual Lorazepam. I hate long acting benzo's for the fact that Clonazepam takes forever to kick in, its a nice benzo and all, but Clonazepam isn't really that useful for Anxiety attacks, or panic attacks. Especially if you are smoking herb, I would definately go for the "lam" benzo's. They have always been my favourite.

Alprazolam rocks.

Although I do also love Bromazepam in high doses, as well as Diazepam.

Other than that, Alprazolam is still my #1 fav benzo (it even has antidepressant properties to it, like no other benzo does.)

Xanax isn't euphoric IMO.... it's just calming.... euphoria is whats experienced with stronger opiates and empathogens.
 
nope, I've taken 2.5mg at the most with no benzo tolerance at all (only taken ativan a couple times, which was boring) and just felt a bit tripped out, talked to a poster of a pretty woman, kissed it, ate some goldfish while writing sloppy poetry, and was just kind of calm and mellow, but no euphoria like with opiates. perhaps you have to "get a feel" for it, like how some people don't really get high with opiates their first few times?
 
^just want to mention they were the Goldfish cheddar snack crackers, not the other kind, lol.

yeah you have to get a feel for it but even when you have a feel for it will never be as euphoric as opiates can be. xanax is more euphoric if you mix it with opiates or a couple of beers though.
 
XANAX is not balanced out.

In other words, if I take too much I fall sleep. Then if I take small amounts then it does not do crap...
 
yeah but if you dose exactly right, xanax is sweet. it gives you euphoria and a totally wasted feeling with basically no hangover the next day. it's so hard to dose exactly right though.
 
Xanax is a favorite of mine. 2-4 mgs will make me feel extremely good. Higher doses have a stimulating property that other benzos lack. It does turn me into a mess though. I stay away from benzos in general. I can't abide having no perspective or memory with to use as evidence that I wasn't an idiot for hours the previous night. :)

Temazepam is very effective for any sort of comedown. Valium is nice as well. I don't understand the appeal of K-pins. They don't do much for me in the euphoria department.
 
This is a come down, nothing more. Use this as a follow up to an "up" night and you will have a great time.

yea i experience euphoria but i have such a high tolerance to Xanax. i've been eating bars for years. it kind of pisses me off cause i just dont get off right the way i want to, you dig? . . . tolerance, obviously. so i like to mix it with alcohol and/or white grapefruit juice. :)

Honestly, I wish i had Klonopin. . . .. 8(

I'll just have to let my doc know, I suppose.
 
hmm at the onset and 3-4 hours i love it BUT
xanax will make you get MAD as hell about very stupid shit, and it sometimes gets you into dumb fights

I know exactly what you're talking about. in high doses especially and mixed with booze. i've tried to fight my best friends before, stumbling around and accusin them of stealing bars i either lost or forgot i ate haha! anyhoo....i think sometimes Xanax even has adverse reactions... has anyone else experienced this? :\

no, ive never gotten angry from benzos. if i am high on them and someone does something that is a buzz kill, i can get upset because i feel like i am just wasting drugs and money and raising my tolerance for nothing. but that's not specific to benzos, i'm the same way with any drug.

i can understand that, indeed. but when you're drinking on benzos, which i dont know but assume you have done, have you ever gotten WAY too fucked up and some shit went down?

from my experience, everytime i mix them BOTH, in high doses, i start going off on people and wanting to kick their ass. so i try to avoid high doses, cause i'm not really like that. i'm relatively a peaceful man <3

when i drink on benzos, i try to keep the doses lower because of fear of overdosing. the one time i didn't take that precaution i have no memory of the entire night but there was no evidence my behavior had been out of line the next morning.
