Wii vs. 360

I've heard amazing reviews from literally every person to play a Wii so far. Makes me wish I had one. =(

Ditto!

I've got mine preordered can't wait. Unfortunately I'm working on the 7th and then going to the work Christmas party straight from work so I won't get my hands on mine 'til Friday.

Can't wait. I'm going to buy Red Steel on the first day and then maybe Zelda the week after :)

nintendo have fucked up

they've underproduced the games so each country allocation will be cut very short. i preordered dragon ball but in the light of this news (it won't be available till march) i changed to wii play bundle (w/ extra wiimote). this is on top of zelda.

apparantly red steel will be the hardest to get.

well, according to reviews, its the hardest to enjoy. So maybe that'll work out. ;)

If I bought one, which I wont (for a while), I'd be playing Zelda, Trauma Center, and Elebits (when it comes out)

where i live the games are easy to get but all the hardware was snapped up on preorder and all the peripherals sold out very quickly. i'm still trying to get the high def component cables and a second nunchuck for my second wiimote. the classic controller never made it here, either. but you can use a gamecube controller for the virtual console games (haven't bought any though).

Damn, I didn't actually preorder any games, just the console.

I'll just have to see what I can get :)

My Uncle & Dad went into PC World today to pick up a few laptops and the guy that works at PC world said he'd try to sneak a Wii into the back and keep it for us :D

^^lol, did you hear that girl say "god damn it" after she missed her put.

What's ya'lls opinion on if later generation wiis will have much better processors and rf sensors? I really want to get one, but not if it won't work with games in 4 years..

Nintendo always supports their products.. if they released a new version it would be backwards compatible I'm sure but I doubt they even would in the first place.

hopefully it would be something like on the 64, when you could upgrade the onboard ram or whatever.

Is it not possible to re-configure the controller so you don't have to move around???

I think it would be very strange if nobody released an aftermarket version of the controller that allowed this - if nintendo have not/will not.

Think about the Fat Bastard market:)

i don't like video games, and even i am excited about the wii, it looks awesome. i am seriously regretting buying a ps3, it is overpriced, and not even going for a lot on ebay anymore, so not worth selling either.

That vid is so cute!

got my wii atthe midnight opening last night and stayed up till 3am playing the bloody thing. ugh.... i'm not used to such short sleeps anymore.

tennis and baseball are both lots of fun. boxing i'm having trouble getting used to. i haven't tried bowling, golf or any of the wiiplay games.

Zelda...... fuck yeah...
but fishing is hard!

It's comparing apples to oranges.

i agree.. i have both (and a ps3) and i think they are all really different.. it really depends on what kind of gaming fun you want to have.

personally, i like the wii best.. because i am more into getting off the couch, and i find xbox360 and ps3 games really hard to manuver and concentrate on.
