Why is gay sex so filthy and raunchy?

I'll explain it more then. Again, not my actual feelings, but how I think it could be perceived.

Girls are supposed to be sweet, gentle, etc. Therefore, in gay porn (no girls), there doesn't have to be any of that sweet, gentle stuff. Plus, stereotypically, guys are more physical.

Most guys I've been with are pretty vanilla. That's not to say the kinky stuff is wrong, just that I don't think you can start talking about all gay people in regards to that.
 
I don't do any of that shit either. I've also been around the block a few times, when I was younger, and never had anyone try to do any of that sort of shit with me, and if they had, I would have been out of there with a quickness. I've also seen some straight porn that was pretty terrible and degrading, so I do feel that you are making very broad, inaccurate generalizations. I do not watch such filth or frequent bathhouses, so my exposure to such things is pretty much nil. From my experiences, as an actual gay man, I can tell you that such things are definitely not the norm. Gay sex is not generally "filthy, nasty, raunchy and disgusting!"

Interesting points made here. I don't know shit about gay lifestyles/sex. "Gay sex is two guys so its man squared" seems like it makes sense to me.

Also, going to a bathhouse I would assume that only attracts a certain type of gay guy.

Another thing I would take into consideration is that you would have to open your mind up to a certain degree to accept yourself as being gay, and maybe that would open you up also to more... Strange sex?
 
You answered your own question in your post. Sex like this happens because of crystal meth and other drugs that people take that lower their inhibitions. Couple that with how men are mainly into sex or are sex driven, and that craigslist and bath houses or sex clubs are all an instant hookup meat market are also factors.

I'm bisexual and I do not do any of the sex you described and I do not want a partner who does either. You seem to be watching too many "Treasure Island Media" videos.

To the people harshing me out for this thread, as I said, I'm not saying raunchy sex is wrong. I personally don't enjoy it, but I would -in the most literal sense- fight to defend people's right to have depraved gay sex.

As for it being simply a craigslist or drug thing... Well, here is my control on that confounding variable. I a) looked at craigslist m4w, w4m and w4w ads. m4w had a sprinkling of raunchy in it, but not nearly as much as m4m. w4m and w4w had no significant quantity of raunchy to speak of. Drugs? I am, and many of my friends are HARD drug users...meth, coke, etc. Yet, I've never been the type for raunchy sex, even when methed out of my fucking head with a girl who was just methed up. similarly, I've only seen the occasional instances of the kind of stuff I was talking about IRL with my friends who where hetero or bisexual females having hetero or female/female sex while on epic amounts of drugs. My gay and bisexual male friends on the other hand...
